Can you imagine the police arguing with each other over who gets to interview which attractive BC of Morgan's? I bet it's been an interesting few weeks at the station ;)

Probably just like watching Zoolander... :banghead:

The Daily Telegraph seems to have the most Main Stream Media articles on this case - but basically there are only 2 people writing the Case.
...
For Morgan Huxley's case though Clementine Cuneo (Daily Telegraph) seems to be giving most news in this case.

Talk about having to read between the lines.
Lets hope there is some more news tomorrow - Sunday.

The longest they've left us waiting so far is 2 days.
And it's fair to say this thread is now smoking hot (60-70% of posts since the crime occurred have been in the last 24 hours) and we seem to have made a breakthrough or two today also...
and I'm sure the press are reading... so, at the risk of sounding a bit corny in a Saturday night kinda way... :p

:guitar:
Oh my darlin', oh my darlin', oh my darrrlin', Clementine
We are lost without your writings,
Give us an uuup-date, Clementine!

Great thinking and sleuthing, all. Yess, updates. There's a few Aussie cases now where I'm waiting on tenterhooks for new news... I hope there isn't yet another interminable gap in this one.

The main reason I'm a bit on the fence between 'BC gone haywire' and 'premed' is that the killer had the wherewithal to take the murder weapon with them. Which suggests to me a couple of possible things - the killer wasn't in such terrible shock at what they'd done that they simply left it there (as often happens in unplanned crimes).. and perhaps the weapon had some personal significance to the killer, ie, they owned it, and were worried about it being ID'd as theirs.

Thus, it may have been brought to the scene = premed.

Also, just the way it was done.. all the blood being in his room, not spread around the house.. there's something in the sudden, vicious attack while he's in a vulnerable position, all the violence in one tightly controlled area, that says pent-up anger, possible planned attack.

But who knows, maybe she ran to the kitchen for a knife or grabbed something lying close to the bed.

In any case, the killer left the scene very bloody - and with a murder weapon. They'd likely want to get rid of/hide/clean the weapon toot sweet and get home to clean themselves up just as fast. I think they'd probably take something of a direct route to their vehicle - if they parked at some distance to Morgan's home, this could imply premed as well, not wanting their vehicle ID'd near his apartment.

I doubt a booty call would care where she parked - women in rivalry with one another might even park right out front of his place, in hope one of the 'other women' would see it and seethe.

Not that this is anything I would ever do. But I know women who definitely would.

And maybe the killer is just psycho enough to actually keep the weapon, if it was a tool or knife belonging to Morgan. Keep it hidden somewhere safe ... a souvenir/memento of how far she would go to make sure her 'love' would be hers forever. The last thing 'touched' by him.

Sorry, I know that sounds horrible - but I think this is one sick puppy.

(just like the other sick puppy on another thread that we are waiting, waiting, waiting on  )

I would say def premeditated. My thoughts are that he came home from party and girl Was waiting for him at his house offering up a fun time. He rejected her and then went to oaks. She was furious and broke in to his apartment. Then he has come home and began to pleasure himself, shirt off=sex with someone else, shirt on= sex with self... As he was busy with himself she would easily have been able to stab him in the neck before he could react. This case is so crazy!

I think that if you compare JO to the other stunning women morgan dated u can easily see who is the odd one out. All the rest are skinny stunners and she is well... Um.... The daughter of someone barely famous 20 years ago. He seemed more interested in people and less interested in celebrity.

In this case I hope they sent both male and female Detectives/Police to interview people - just to get another perspective. I'm sure the interview would be quite differently managed. Still professional - just different.

(and yes, I can imagine the arguments too ;))

Welcome Renstar2! You may well be right. But sex with a shirt on could mean Morgan was keeping some 'distance' during the act of intimacy. Perhaps he didn't really like the girl very much.

And going by the celebrity thing .. that would count RP out too, wasn't she a model for a wine company at some point? Not that she would be very 'famous' for that, but still.

JO and he were mates for 14 years - I guess they liked something about each other.

And I definitely think RP should be counted in!

So interesting to get so many different peoples views on things. :)

RP is not very famous and neither is JO in oz. rebecca is recognizabl as th yellowglen girl but before this she was a face not a name If JO and morgan have been friends since morgan was 16 I would assume she would have spent a lot of time consoling his mum and long Time ex who she would have had to have spent significant time with. But no she spent time showing everyone how upset she was. The MSm have already let slip that the killer was at the funeral.

If she had been friends with him for so long she would have seen him pick 1000's of girls above her. And then after 13 years of being friends suddenly they start dating but only for a month and then it's over and she is cool with that??? I think not...

If not JO then I question why it is taking so long for an arrest. 3 weeks to the day and no arrest. Police must be pretty sure of he killers sane mental state, be keeping very close eye on and be dotting every I and crossing every t because this case will explode in the media if it isa daughter of a pseudo celebrity.

I hope they catch this crazy lady because I would hate to think someone could get away with a psychotic rampage in today's day and age and not leave a massive digital footprint be it GPS, SMS or CCTV.

The possibilities are mind-boggling, aren't they! :scared:

I hope they make an arrest soon.

The scariest thing about this case is that there is someone who is most likely very much like Jodi Arias who is out on the loose. SCARY.

VERY scary PandaJ ... can only imagine how Morgan's friends are feeling right now! Though I don't imagine that psycho-girl is quite as on-the-loose as she thinks she is right now.

Wonder what time the digital Sunday editions are released? Sometimes it is midnight, sometimes 8am ... or maybe police have stifled any further press as they are very close to an arrest.

:please:

I noticed that the 'woken up' report is attributed to police .. I don't believe the other stories are attributed to the police (if that helps - it has certainly swayed my opinion the way of the police version).

Good Catch, SouthAussie! :thumb:

I think many of us on WS have been confused by the differing reports of how/when Morgan's flat mate realized there were puzzling sounds coming from Morgan's room...

I, too, would put more credibility on the LE report...

That his flat mate woke to hear those eerie noises...

Oooh. I didn't want to say it...

But I've been thinking how this could end up being a very similar case.

Looking back at police search areas ... seems this killer may have been very local. Police based one of their searches at Prior Avenue Reserve.

http://goo.gl/maps/hswvV

Searches among the residential back streets, to me, means strong local knowledge.

Wish we knew the areas the suspect(s) come from. Then we could discuss them in a general way, without pointing fingers or revealing residential addresses.

"At 10am several teams were concentrating on busy roads including Bannerman and Murdoch streets and Wycombe and Rangers roads.
The riot squad based their search in Prior Avenue Reserve near Cremorne Point and close to Sydney Harbour. They set up their search just before 9am and coordinated the search out of several black 4WDs parked on the reserve."

Just jumping off your post... Using the link to the smh article above ...

FWIW...

In this article it is reported that...

"At one point, four officers crouched over a gutter and took photos of what appeared to be a wet glove on Ben Boyd Road."

Could be something... Or could be nothing...

Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I found RP profile on Instagram, in one image she is wearing a hat and has taken a selfie outside of a home, a car also features in the background. The house and tree lined street is very similar to many other homes and streets on the lower North Shore, so I knew from this that the image was taken not far from Neutral Bay.

I searched the local directory for anyone of the same surname to RP and an address came up in the surrounding suburb. Funnily enough this street was where police conducted a major search.

I streetviewed the address and found that this street was where RP had taken the selfie and also the same car featured in the background of RP photo on instagram also features on streetview.

RP has also since deleted her Facebook account and LinkedIn account but Instagram remains active.

Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I have been reading the news daily and waiting on a resolution to this case or at least a suspect.

I found out last night through my own research that RP is the main suspect in this case.

How I found out:

I found RP profile on Instagram, in one image she is wearing a hat and has taken a selfie outside of a home, a car also features in the background. The house and tree lined street is very similar to many other homes and streets on the lower North Shore, so I knew from this that the image was taken not far from Neutral Bay.

I streetviewed the address and found that this street was where RP had taken the selfie and also the same car featured in the background of RP photo on instagram also features on streetview.

Not saying she is guilty but she is definitely the major suspect in this investigation.

RP has also since deleted her Facebook account and LinkedIn account but Instagram remains active.
