‘We are coming for you’: AFP’s message to sex offenders

An Australian Federal Police-led investigation has smashed open a domestic online network of alleged child sex offenders, who are accused of abusing and exploiting Australian children and recording the horrific crimes to share with others.

Nine men across three states - New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia - have been charged, with the two most recent arrests made in the NSW mid-north coast town of Kendall, where toddler William Tyrrell disappeared in September 2014.

1. The investigation began in February after a tip-off from US authorities.
2. Creation of taskforce in February - Operation Arkstone
3. 9 arrested
4. Many others charged for significant crimes, but not involved in abuse activities
5. At least 14 children have been removed from harmful situations.

Police will allege the 57-year-old Doyle encouraged the procurement of a child to engage in sexual activity on multiple occasions, as well as transmitting child abuse material via the internet, among other alleged offences.

An Australian man, Brendan Curt Schulz, 35, of Queensland, was charged with live-streaming child sexual abuse. He will appear in court in Mount Isa on July 30.

Their mother, aged 34, was charged with facilitating the abuse of the girls.

Australian man William Allen Corley, 63, of West Ryde, had earlier been charged with multiple child sexual abuse offences. He will appear in court in Sydney on July 22.

A woman – the mother, neighbour and aunt of the 13 children – has been charged with facilitating online child sexual abuse, taking money from predators overseas who paid to watch the children being abused.

Some interesting (coincidental?) sole trader ABN QLD ((currently cancelled) address changes, from what appears to be both the arrested Doyles sole trader ABN's on the day/week that William disappeared in 2014.

I actually don’t know if I can research this...

It’s so important, but the number of arrests, charges and children at harm is hard to hear. And those are just known suspects.

From seemingly average looking, young, people and the age of those being abused. Also Women mothers, relatives, people who should be protecting these vulnerable angels.

I know this is nothing new but hard none the less.

Sickening stuff. Glad they have been apprehended. One of those situations where it’s just hard to get head around the absolute depravity of these people. One of the things that I find so horrible is that like seems to attract like and these groups or rings develop and they tend to protect each other.

Hope the kids involved can be provided with a safe home going forward. Sadly such damage already done.

I could literally spend a whole day writing a long list of those recently charged on this and those downloading etc.. I can’t it’s too much for my head.

We need open sex offender lists ASAP. These pieces of *advertiser censored* need to be named, shamed and given good reasons not to take part in this.

On a positive note it looks like if found guilty the jail terms are long - fingers crossed they pass the judicial system with the same outcomes.

A PEDOPHILE who argued he should be released from jail after authorities helped him change sex in prison is now living in the community without a complete control plan, despite warnings he is a high risk to children.

Jeffrey Terrence Anderson, 34, who was referred to in court documents as Ms Rose, was jailed in 2008 after repeated offences against children – including having sex with a 12-year-old and abusing two six-year-old boys he was babysitting.

Anderson was released from jail on a court-imposed supervision order on Tuesday after serving 12 years behind bars.

I have spent the day listening to it.
It’s not pleasant but what an eye opener.
As someone who has followed true crime for about 50 years and been on the net forever, and thought I had seen plenty, realise I knew very little about the dark web.
These paedophiles tentacles are everywhere.
I understand now how when they bust a network there are instantaneous arrests worldwide.

I noticed this had disappeared somewhere. Sorry but if you have priors for sexual abuse of children too bad! They should adjust the law in this respect it is what it is, you don’t accidentally sexually abuse a child.

After listening to the entire podcast I put up earlier, episode five shocked me the most, some paedophiles DO start offending in their early teens.
These two from Kendall may have started offending many years ago when we see what they escalated to already.

I think another of the ones from NSW arrested as part of this operation is 20 year old Alec McGeary, charged with possessing or controlling child abuse material by using a carriage service to access child abuse material, arrested in Botany, Sydney on May 20th.
Hard to be sure if it was part of operation arkstone but the timing is right and the articles mention it was after a tip off from the USA.

Thank you for sharing this. I have reluctantly listened - and glad I did. It was very informative and interesting. 100% percent agree with you, having looked through so many cases mainly homicides, this blows my mind.
