A second car would have been needed to bring the Mustang driver back to RB's place.

Yes, i would imagine RB & AD travelled back together in the white vehicle.

They might have had Sam's body in the boot of the Chrysler and gone straight from DWB to the Caboolture area for the burial. It's just that I think moving the body without making a mess could have been awkward and some thinking had to be done about where to put it, and perhaps doing it under cover of night might have seemed attractive. Especially if the house was secure, no one likely to come in. But that orange Mustang was shouting Sam's presence to any passers, it didn't take any thinking to want to get it out of sight.

My thoughts are they placed Sam in his own vehicle because of DNA evidence leading back to the perps.. That's why in my theory i said that they dumped Sam's car hoping someone would steal it and there would be someone else involved then as a diversionary tactic to throw police off what actually happened.

Can I just add the footage of the mustang and the Chrysler together were seen on the DWB road on march 7 so that maybe where the chrysler sighting came into it. Worth noting a couple people on that post by the qld police I think thought the cars were driving away on that Day but they may have been mistaken

I believe the CCTV caught them going out - as it's a one way part of the road...... it's like a circle that flicks you back out the other end where the CCTV camera is on the property.....
but there are 3 entries into the car parks [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

So perhaps the theory that the three got together at RB's house initially where Sam was murdered. They then placed ST in the boot of his own car and the two vehicles drove to DWB reserve. They then buried ST in a shallow grave. His vehicle the orange mustang was left there for more than 12 hrs. They then picked up & drove & dumped Sam's vehicle at Wooyong?

No - burial would have to be at night. It's too risky in that area during the day.

And only one exit?

Yes i would imagine so. And then where did they place Sam if they murdered him earlier that day i wonder?

But the grave wasn't at Deepwater, it was at Caboolture. If I had to transport a body for irregular burial, I surely wouldn't do it in an orange Mustang.

Wasn't RB's house really close to where Sam was found?

Yes, very close to the crime scene at RB's house. And Sam's vehicle was recovered 2 days after he went missing. So it was driven there by the perp/s. because ST was already deceased by then. They didn't worry too much at that stage about driving Sam's car around to dump it near BB.

You may want to save this map somewhere. Caboolture is where Sam was found. Deep Water Bend Reserve - where his car was for 12 hours - is not too far from the house at Bald Hills.

That's what has me thinking and why I asked which side houses were on. Driving away doesn't fit really if it was the Tuesday ? [emoji848] as it's stated car was there Tuesday 1pm to midnight ? I might be seeing this wrong

There was always a question about this ... as nickers said the two cars were caught on CCTV in the afternoon driving away from Deep Water Bend Reserve. And someone else agreed. They could tell time of day by the shadows, and they knew where the CCTV would have been.

The times aren't clear to me. Some reports had the car seen at the reserve at 1pm Tuesday. But in the press release video the policeman said that after the Nundah sighting, the car was seen at the reserve "late" or "later" Tuesday afternoon, also around midnight, also Wednesday midday. So perhaps the car wasn't seen there Tuesday 1pm and that was an error for the sighting Wednesday.

I get the feeling we may never resolve this perception question

Yes, South Aussie just confirmed too it's always been an issue I must have missed that before. Maybe they went back and forwards wondering what to do.
