There’s the difference between Josh and Sarah Ristevski. Why is Josh’s evidence considered unreliable when he was quoting the murderer?

He reminded the jury of the accused’s son Joshua Edwards’s evidence that Mr Edwards told him he and Mrs Edwards had “wrestled”, he had thrown her to the ground and she hit her head the night she was last seen alive.

Justice Hulme told the jury the Crown case was that version of events “understated” what happened. The defence case was Joshua’s evidence was “so unreliable” the jury could not accept it.

Thanks TGY!

I'm not so good as some of you at sleuthing things but I do like to regularly trawl down through the news.

I wish every missing person could be found, particularly those whose remains are somewhere yet to be found, and those who have been found but not yet identified.
I want those responsible to get what they deserve.

"When I tried to talk to him about the last time he saw mum, he would say he is tired or can't remember, or would walk away and not finish what he was talking about". said Joshua Edwards.
The court heard eventually, John Edwards told his son, he pinned Ms Edwards on the ground and she hit head before she went to bed on the Saturday night she disappeared.
When quizzed by the defence why he didn't tell police that until after his father was arrested, Joshua said, " I didn't want to be the reason he was arrested. As soon as I said anything like that, he'd never confide in me again", adding, "he's my dad".

The court also heard from Ms Edwards former boss, Matthew Hankinson, who said John Edwards was in an agitated, nervous and frantic state on the Monday morning after her disappearance. CCTV was also shown to the court of Ms Edwards, her new partner, Billy Mills and his friend of 40 yrs on the night she went missing, it's believed to be the last vision of her alive.

SON CALLED AS FIRST WITNESS ON DAY 2 OF JOHN EDWARDS MURDER TRIAL IN COFFS HARBOUR | NBN News

The prosecution argued that Edwards killed her, before dumping her body in bushland near Lawrence, where a triangulation detected her mobile phone between 4am and 7am.
Edwards claimed he had watched a movie at Ms Edwards home and he left before midnight, however phone data placed him at the location at 3am.
His phone also pinged at Lawrence an hour later.
While today's verdict brings some closure to Ms Edward's family, until her husband confesses – her body may never be found.
He will be sentenced at a later date.

John Wallace Edwards guilty of killing his wife

It appears the remains are in Lawrence, I checked the satelite image and there's some thick bushland, maybe, a search could be organized sometime in the future, if he won't tell.
