I love how Pooley brought up how it seems strange that AS's roommates didn't see her come back and drop off her wallet and only set of keys.

I think she left her ID/wallet at the house when she left to drive to the bf's (in the event she get pulled over she'd have the excuse of forgetting her ID/wallet - so it wouldnt be as simple to see she was underage and had been drinking).

Imo

Just imo. As a young adult and probably more aware of my surroundings. I always bring my ID with me.. just in case i need it, to get in bars/clubs, something happens to be so i can be identified, police asking for it cause i don't look my age. Not that i would need it now because of an distinctive tattoo.

on the other hand, my bf used to always leave his ID/wallet.. or he's always losing it! So usually everywhere we go or leave I ask "You have your ID?" to get him in habit of doing it.

So she talks to dispatch at 4:23-4:26 and is told it'll be 20 min before the cab can come.

At 4:43 she texts the bf to say she's coming.

Sounds like the cab was on time to me just going by what we have.

The question is more wtf happened from there, IMO, and why did her phone and the cab driver's phone keep on communicating back and forth around 5am?

Exactly it all leads back to the same questions...

Right, that's why I was wondering if there was a second cab company or second cab at all involved???

But in reality, I'm trying too hard to think outside the box because there's some glaring problems here.

If cab was on time and arrived and AS was in the cab now at 4:43am (like it appears according to logistics and her text to bf) then who was controlling her phone to call this same cab at 5:06am to say she'll be there in a minute?

I've been trying hard to think of alternate scenarios other than the obvious...

:scared:

Well in the scenario you've painted, it would have to be a case of right hand calling left hand IMO.

there was only one text, the one to her bf saying she was coming over. one of her roommates said on video that adrienne "was bad with texts" and didn't text much. everything else was in phone call form.

Correct. If FA had erased something, they would already know it from her phone records.

Here are the shots I saved:

Looks like he sure did delete something. What is this "text me once you find it"? There is no initial message from her saying she lost anything at all. strange.

Lol we dont want that.... id be happy to share. If they allow it I will. If not ill send it to you privately.

Me too! :seeya:

My idea now that I've bee catching up.. what if other companies were listening to the station. Its late, business might be slow.. might think "hey, im closer.. ill swing by there to see if i see someone there". Chats with her says i'll give you a ride.. and she was desperate to see said bf so she took it.

That would leave us absolutely no where.. and that's just horrible but it seems likely. Usually i picture taxis/cabs to be yellow or white.. with ads on the top of them. Anyway, that's how they look in FL. Burgundy/Deep color throw me off.

I think she finally texted to say she was coming to let BF know, that ignoring her calls was not going to stop her. I really feel she alone did the calling and texting from her phone. And I think she left her ID and wallet behind on purpose, as well as her key. She was separating herself from the accident, for the time being.

I really feel her need/obsession? to get back in the BF's apartment may have determined everything she did in that last hour or so, including arranging to meet away from the apartment.

I just mostly hope we know some of these answers someday. It it too depressing to think that we will be debating these issues for months, or longer.

GGE, I never did get around to posting a big thank you for transcribing!

IMO
I would like to point out that during the transcribing I thought it sounded like the cabbie father was saying that it was the son who actually dispatched himself....to get Adrienne.
At this hour he could have been the one on call and dispatching. I do this myself in slow hours when I am on call.

I am going to need to look closer at that and hopefully watch the video when its up on youtube. But, that is what I understood the father to be speaking of.

Don't know if it means anything.

Noooo Amanda----I'm not suggesting FA erased any texts or messages at all. What I am wondering about is if someone that night had control of her phone, made a phony text to FA at 4:43am and made a phony call to cab at 5:06am?
Why?--Because AS should've been in the cab by 4:43am and yet she supposedly calls the cab at 5:06am to say she'll be there in a minute?

<snipped>

I don't think its weird.. He could have called her after the text or she may have. If I text something that alerts my boyfriend.. he'll just call me instead as its faster and more reliable.

Then they had a conversation.. and it ended, in which he said text me when you find it.

I guess I"m just old fashioned. I have a cell and I keep it in my purse. That way if I"m not at home I have a phone accessible. But if I"m at home why would I look in my purse at the thing? I mean, I have a house phone and a laptop with email.

So thank you for explaining a possible reason for this. the text/call combo conversation.

I am officially old.

My preferred method of communicating is with my cell phone, either by text or call. Preferably by text unless I have something that requires a lot of back and forth. I never ever use my house land line. And I get email notification on my phone. Most of my friends like to text as well. It's our preferred method of communicating. I'm actually surprised to hear that Adrienne wasn't "good with texts" as most kids text constantly.

So AS calls for a taxi (according to cabbie-dad) before 4:23am and supposedly is 1 minute away from the cab at 5:06am.

If that is remotely true, that is super-slow service, especially for that time of night. Approx 40 mins for cab to get from point to point. Weird.

The timeline is just not adding up *AND* that is why I just keep brainstorming this around like a tossed salad.

I would like to take a look at the original transcription of the cab owner (father ) being interviewed. I could almost swear I recall him saying that he is the one who got the call and that "I looked and the closest cab was 20 minutes away".

Mine's a Tracfone. AKA a dumbphone. No email - just a "page too large" error if I try to access the web at all anywhere at any time for anything. Emergencies only, and short texts. Of course I'm also so rural that even in this day and age there's no service from ANY company here unless you hold the phone way up and turn around slowly and manage to catch one bar. Cell service here is, like, my personal unicorn...

anyway, my laptop is posessed and keeps trying to post before i'm done and erase words while i'm typing and stuff so i give up!

I am sure LE has all the phone records. I don't think the cab company can lie about them

I was stunned to hear 32 calls vs. 11 to BF...wonder why 11 were reported earlier? And if the calls just went to voice mail and she hit redial each time? Very strange anyway.

just FTR.. my lil sis and i call each other over and over until the other picks up. she does it to my dad.. drives him crazy..

i know in the past i've called someone over and over again like that even if it went straight to voicemail.. just hoping that it would actually start to ring and the person would pick up. it was probably a boyfriend at the time and i would have been adrienne's age. lol.
