Below is the copied text from when I first made this suggestion. It's totally his sense of humor, but I do not know if the vandalism started prior to Corey going missing the last Saturday of 2019. Attached is a Google map image.

"So I posted a week ago about my missing friend in AZ who walked off in the desert of Yavapai County and hadn't come back. There is still no news, but since then I've heard of the Penis Man vandal in Tempe. I honestly wouldn't put it past Corey to go missing and then become a funny vandal, especially since his dad just died. I think my friend is Penis Man.

He's extremely physically fit and active. He's a black belt in ju-jitsu and some form of kung fu. He would routinely ride his bike in 75 mile round trips to go to a city near our town to, get this, use their gym. He could totally climb all over Tempe buildings to do this. He was last seen outside Castle Hot Springs and Tempe ain't far for someone like him. I really hope I'm right cuz that would be amazing."

Even just knowing that this couldn't be true by proving the vandal in Tempe was active before Corey went missing could help. I know this is very unlikely, but I have a laugh picturing it instead of a cry at the thought of him at the bottom of a cliff.

This article says the graffiti started in late November:
'Penis Man' Graffiti Keeps Popping Up in Tempe

This is the most recent picture of him taken earlier the day he went missing. This is how he's dressed. His wife sent this to me after I posted the above article to Facebook. She's hoping he's just holed up in the mountains to grieve his dad. Corey knows a few people that live in the caves out there and how to live off the land.

I hope he is, too. His poor wife :(

What a beautiful area.

I hope she's right.

@Billi@m is the dog missing as well?

@Billi@m - when did his father pass away? Where they close? Has he been having a particularly hard time with it? I know “having a hard time” is all relative when it comes to grief...just trying to get a sense of his state of mind.
His "father" is his great uncle who raised him as his own. Both he and his wife had failing health for years. Corey left a pretty good job in Georgia to come back to Michigan to move in with them so Corey and his wife Jessica could care for them. His "mom" (great aunt) passed over a year ago and his dad was in kidney failure. His dad, who was native, wanted to get back to nature and die on his own terms rather than go thru dialysis 3x a week. Corey moved him out to AZ this past fall and stayed with him until the end. (Corey had lived in Phoenix area prior to going to Georgia so he had a plan.) His dad died a few weeks before Christmas 2019.

Wow, that’s heavy. Any idea on how he was taking it all? Two losses in a short period of time...

Below is an email that Corey's wife received and she agreed to my posting it here as long as I redacted the name of the sender.

Jessica,

We do not have an easy way of printing off the report from the Search and Rescue man hours and miles. The system we use breaks it down in a way that is itemized and would be very time consuming to individually print out. I have gone through it and broken down some of what I believe you are looking for and have included it in this email below. Again this does not include any Maricopa County employees or volunteers that assisted. Some of the numbers for sworn persons are approximate but where conservatively estimated based on time cards, patrol logs, and other miscellaneous information.
