That doesn't sound right. 50% of people having c secs die? I've had 2 and I'm still here.

This made me giggle. I definitely don't think that's right. I've had two c-sections too and made it through both just fine. Quite a few of my friends have had them too and they're still alive and kickin'.

Nothing really specific. Just that people are starting to catch the babysitter in some of her lies. There have been random mentions of things she's lied about on this forum as well as scattered throughout the internet. I was mostly just commenting because I didn't believe her from the get-go.

Seems to me she justs wants her 15 minutes of fame. She has nothing to add but she's trying to come up with things that will keep the attention on her for a while. She's pleased as punch to keep seeing herself on TV and the internet. JMHO.

Who here has pictures up of their holidays on facebook? As soon as we were done with christmas I had pictures up on mine

The smiths only started uploading christmas pictures on the 22nd. and have never added more

why aren't there pictures of H.G opening presents, getting her santa gifts? Christmas dinner? IDK. I know because they saw santa that she believes in him. I know they celebrate Christmas because the album is titled "christmas 2009"
Did they possibly celebrate with someone they can not share pics of?


On picture #18 she says that HG was telling santa all she wanted for christmas was to get to keep her 'brother'

Finally, I had one valid thought I THINK Is it possible that EJ took TPS's camera when she left with GJ and that is why there are no pictures on the camera before the "trip" because they were not her pictures and no pics on TPS FB page of Xmas because her camera was gone!

That's it...this is what I think most are looking at in Gabriel's pic's at the hotel, that has been referred to as a medicine dispenser.This is my grandson's and they look identical...Thx's

I agree. I think she went to someone and said "ohhh I know that baby I babysat him... his mom dressed skanky and had a knife in her room" etc etc to be drama.
Maybe she even went home to her boyfriend before this was anywhere on the news and complained of elizabeth and made up the stuff about dirty room, lethargic baby, knife drama.

Then she had to stick to her exaggerated story.
And it blew up into this big thing.

I don't think she is intentionally lying. I think there is some embellishment going on, though. I think her statements likely held as much as she could remember the first couple of times she spoke, but after that, I doubt it. She wants to stay in the spotlight and be paid attention to, so she keeps creating an answer to the questions, even if she doesn't actually have one. It would help if NG hadn't asked her so many leading questions and given her the setup that way.

I also thought about that knife by her bed. Maybe it was there because she was alone, in a new city. If someone were to break into her room, she may need to defend herself. I don't know, I have had weapons by my bed, just being a more responsible parent than her, I keep them out of reach. I know my son was lazy and not mobile at 8 months, and could not have gotten to it.

Thank you salvarenga for posting the picture of the teething feeder. I wondered what it was in that picture too.

Mostly about her descriptions of the room and of Gabriel.

For instance, I posted two days ago that I noticed the hotel pictures of Gabriel show multiple toys, at least 2 different pacifiers, a book, etc. and yet the babysitter claims that there was nothing for Gabe to play with except what she described as a "rattle type thing".

Also, on NG the other night, she said that Gabriel didn't look as dirty when she watched him as he did in the hotel photo's. She had claimed on a previous interview that he was kind of dirty when she watched him. Well, IMO, the hotel photo's do not show a particularly dirty baby. Yes, there are stains on most of the items of clothing he's wearing. But as a mother to an 8 month old myself, that seems VERY normal to me. Gabe himself does not look particularly dirty in the photo's, IMO. (ETA, at the risk of sounding like I'm defending EJ, the stains are actually evidence that she was feeding him, IMO).

I also came across a website that was commenting on how the babysitter made a point that she made a bottle for Gabriel, but she never mentioned anything about the kitchenette in the room (which we know the room had one).

They may be small things, and they don't particularly suggest that the babysitter had anything to do with Gabriel's disappearance. I am a bit concerned though about WHY she is lying. Many have suggested she is enjoying the spotlight. I've also determined, IMO, that NG has been somewhat leading her to make these claims. For instance, the other night (Tuesday?) NG was asking her if there was any formula besides the one can. (There are many times I only have one can on hand, especially when it's full as the babysitter says it was, or when I am traveling). NG also asked if there was more than one bottle, Analisa said "No" and NG proceeded to ask if there was a sterlizer. (IMO, most mothers only sterlize the bottles the first time, after that, good old soap and hot water are fine).

Take this info as you will, much of it is my own opinions drawn from what I've seen of the babysitter's interviews and the hotel photo's of Gabe.

My son too probably looks dirtier than that by mid-day as well. I also tend to use and wash the same bottle throughout the day. Only once, due to a sale, have I had more than 1 can of formula on hand as well. Also, after 2 kids, I have never used a sterilizer. I boiled the bottle parts the first time like you're supposed to. I havn't watched NG, so I didn't see any of that. Seems to me NG is certainly waisting everyone's time and energy by focusing on this babysitter.

What is going on in AZ these last 2 days? There havn't been any updates or jailbird visits?

The object Gabriel is holding has a cup on its bottom, not a ring like the teething feeder. Gabriel is holding a medicine dispenser, like this:

The feeder has a cup on the bottom of it as well. When my grandson wasn't sucking on ice or any fruit we had in it, we'd put the cup back on and he would would play with it & chew the heck on the ring. It may not be the same thing, I'm just speculating based on looking at the pic's of Gabriel and the colors look identical...I could certainly be wrong...
