I'm less concerned about WHAT it is, than WHAT is IN it. There are very few options as juice goes for baby's Gabe's age. NONE of them are red, except MAYBE a flavor of Pedialyte??? I'm unsure of that, but it's the only thing I could come up with.

maybe its gatorade? She could have used something like that to mix in with the meds to make it more palatable for him to drink? I used to do that. (and no, I didn't ALWAYS use baby juice. I would just use whatever I had on hand. I know-bad mom)

Okay, I have been looking for a picture to post so that I can illustrate what I'm talking about, but I can't find one, so I'll just have to toss it out there.

When I first saw the cup in Gabe's hand, my thought was that it was one of the toy sippy cups. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? They come with some baby dolls, and they have fluid in between the layers, so when they sit straight up they look full, but when you tip them upside down to feed the doll, the fluid goes into the cap to make it look like the baby is "drinking". Could it be one of those? And can someone find a picture?

While I certainly agree that it is crazy to think that EJ went to a park and gave Gabriel to strangers she just met, and the chances of her placing an ad in SA and finding someone to go along with an illegal adoption are not that likely, I do not understand why we should discount the notion that EJ had some outside help BEFORE she chose San Antonio to place Gabriel somewhere either to hide for awhile, or to adopt to a desperate couple illegally --

I see the Smiths' and their lies about their involvement in this case, and IMO their motivation from first involvement in the media was damage control IMO

-- they came out seemingly forthcoming, while all the time they were actually withholding factual information that would implicate their involvement in all of this --

-- they tried to control what EJ stated in TWO "interviews," the second conveniently not taped--


-- they continue to try to control this case with ever-changing excuses for the things they have done wrong, but of course not until they are caught with the things they have done wrong --


My question for today---
Why would the Smiths call EJ in SA and offer their lawyer to help EJ get custody of Gabriel when they knew very well that is not what she wanted?

I don't think so. Tammi's main friend on facebook, who is a real life friend tried hard to make it seem like it was prostitution. At this point, because of the way I feel about the Smith's involvement, I do not believe a word her friend says and think she was possibly told to tell us that to redirect our attention off of tammi

No I don't think the shelter placed the ad, I think EJ placed the ad. I think she found adoptive parents, made plans to meet them in SA and at that point registered with the DV Shelter.
The ad itself was probably only placed in one online publication and through syndication was widely distributed. That's the way I understand the little Kaango video any way. I don't think the Underground/Shelter had anything to do with the adoption.

She's too pretty and it would be assumed she's a cop.(I'm not making that up.) If she did have a few sugar daddies before she left Tempe, that would explain where the money came from that she had on her. But, I don't think she was hooking on the street at any point. I work with prostitutes through outreach, so yes, I know some tricks of the trade.

An extensive search and investigation has been under way for three weeks to find 9-month-old Gabriel Johnson, and as resources across the department have been deployed to the cause.

Sgt. Steve Carbajal said he couldn't quantify at this point how much manpower or money has been put into the case, but did say that investigators have literally worked around the clock.

Officers were also sent to San Antonio and Miami to further the investigations there.

This is only a theory, but,I think she was using Craigslist to get clients. I went to SA CL and looked at adult services-- the listings there are backwards. As in it is the Johns soliciting services to be performed. These two posts caught my eye. Post One. Post Two. Both from 12-22.

I don't think she sold her laptop, I think she threw it away to dispose of it and to set up an alibi for the money she was getting while prostituting. She was working part-time at CVS...

I take it you are a social worker?

I too have worked as a counselor with many prostitutes having been in the Psych/substance abuse field for over 15 years. This is probably I why approach cases like this form a profiler POV. Prostitution fits the profile that appears to be emerging on EJ. And the internet has become the new "red light district".

Over the past decade, I have noticed an alarming large increase in middle class involvement in sex trade (a great example off of the top of my head is how the word "pimp" has crept into the vernacular as a term of adulation in males). The prostitutes and strippers of today are younger and prettier than in the past. I think the net is partially to blame as *advertiser censored* has been normalized and sexual addiction is on the rise along with STDs.

I don't know if this was cleared up or not, but that thing Gabriel had in his mouth was a fresh food teether, not a medicine dispenser. Google fresh food teether and you'll see a pic of the exact same one that was photographed with Gabriel.
