I find it very odd that Beth referred to the baby in the post as "Baby Gabriel" . . . kind of blinking like a neon light out there on the web. I thought that was the name LE gave him, or the news media?

Earlier, the report about the mysterious "Cheryl" was that she had short dark hair, but this is from the transcript of NG show yesterday..

SMITH: She said they were in their mid-30s, about -- the man was tall, not fat but kind of big. He had short, dark, really dark hair. She had long blond hair and was about her size and frame which is about 5`2" to 5`3", 110 to 125 pounds.

ETA: I remember one poster commenting that they sound like Barbie and Ken, lol....still makes me giggle.

Tonight on HLN (on Mike Gelanos show) Jack said that the guy was chubby. Personally, I think the descriptions are a bunch of bull-dook, but that's just me. I don't believe EJ's story, and the descriptions are just too general. Would be nice to see a composite sketch.

Exactly. And think, on January 4, the Smith Family had not even debuted themselves to the masses -- so this looks to me like a plant made expressly for this purpose, and the "tip" came at the time it was most beneficial to Tammi. But again, JMO.

I really think that is exactly what NG planned to do last night, but Tammi headed it off at the pass by parading down to the jail with a reporter in tow. I think Tammi did it, maybe in part, for that exact reason.

BTW, there is a poster on Tammi's FB who is the mother of disabled child telling Tammi that she feels insulted and "let down" by TSP's "retarded" comment. No reply so far.

I don't think it's a coincidence or an unreasonable route. When my hubby and father-in-law moved all our stuff from NY to AZ they went straight down the eastern states and picked up I-10 in Fla. Straight shot all the way to AZ. Goes through San Antonio, too. My parents took the same route from NY to AZ when they visited a couple years ago. From TN you could go straight down, pick up I-10 at Mississippi and go straight to TX. Less route changes and navigating, IMO.

I think it is a ridiculous route from a gps which she was supposedly using.

If you look at these maps you can see that there is no logical way someone headed to TN would go through San Antonio, TX. If you compare the routes it is just not logical unless you are going there for a reason. Unless you are suggesting her intention was originally to drive to Florida which is more believable.

Last night I posted a comment about TS saying on the NG show that she went up to Elizabeth at the airport and asked her what she wanted to do with her baby. Another poster asked where did I get that story as it was inaccurate. I told her I heard TS say that on the NG show on 1/13/2010. Above is a link to the transcipt of the show for 1/13/2010, and below is a quote of TS from the transcript: 'TAMMI PETERS SMITH: I just knew the second I saw her, there is something wrong there. And I just immediately, What do you want to do with your baby?"

I cannot recall the username of the poster who asked me for that information, but I hope he/she is reading here and sees that I have posted the link for the transcript as I stated I would in my response last night.

Tonight, I want NG to ask the Smiths:
1. Why Tammi did not disclose to LE that her first cousin is on the birth certificate. To me, that shows blatantly that TS is involved in this mess early on. The man says he does not even know Elizabeth and did not know she put his name on the BC. Total hink.
2. Why did TS/JS give EJ that GPS monitor. Obviously, hey wanted her to accurately arrive at her destination.
Then, I want to ask them: why do you insist on being such media wh**es.
IMO a lot of things are held close to the vest by LE. For example, the interview w/ housekeeper/babysitter. They probably had that a while ago.
Tammi said that word "retarded" because she really is inarticulate and a very poor speaker. I can see why folks are insulted by her.

That was me, she said it on NG but that was a paraphrased version of the original story. It was not the complete story of what supposedly happened. You took that to mean that it was the original version.
