You know...... you have a good question regarding the car in light of the new developments. I just realized there has been no more theories about Uncle Cousin now that we have heard about this "Bombshell".

Somehow I think the car and Uncle Cousin have a play somewhere in this scenario.

But I can't pull a plausible scenario together at the moment.

Does anyone else have an idea?:waitasec:

Maybe LE thought something happened in the car? Maybe not that night but at some point?

Well I've had my coffee so now I'm off for a morning of soccer games... Thanks to all the night crew for updating the thread and "keeping watch" for little Isa!

I dont use FB so I cant see it but is she actively posting on FB still? I wonder if there are any signs of marriage problems there.

I wonder if she reads here ...

....Rut Roh...never crossed my mind. Why do I tend to think we are all here in a bubble and we are a secret society?

Actually I just looked back through her FB, and my initial impression was that she seems like a happy, well balanced Mom. But this time looking through pics etc, I feel that she could be a bit emotionally detached. A pic posted recently of Isa eating "fat cakes" she simply says "Missing u so much" and altho plenty of her fb friends have liked it, there are no comments giving her hope that she will come home etc. I dunno - I find it a bit strange.
I also thought it was interesting that on one of her pictures she refers to herself as not very religious...

Will re watch her while Sergio sings now...

Can you make out what she's saying at the end?

I have to go by my gut reactions. It is my opinion that something was wrong when Sergio described Isa walking by saying, "Daddy, I'm tired". There is some information missing here that I think is critical. Where were the parents when Isa walked by? Did she just wander off and get into bed by herself? This isn't the sort of picture either parent painted when talking about their family and all the love they give.

Sergio is leaving information out of his story. Since Isa stated she was tired, why didn't either parent tuck her into her bed? If they did, why not share it? If Becky stayed up and braided her hair, didn't she get her into pj's? The clothing described sounded like street clothes.

I agree that the question wasn't answered fully. In fact, it wasn't really answered at all. I mean, if she goes to bed by herself, then that is fine. But the reports repeatedly state, "Family put her to bed at 11:00 p.m.".

So who the heck put her to bed?

Isa walked by her father.

Mom was already in bed, so it sounds.

Did one of her brothers put her to bed?

Her maiden name was Snyder. I wonder if she was brought up Catholic. Most Hispanics are Catholic but she didn't have an Hispanic surname. I got the impression neither parent were religious at the time of the crime but have been brought to the Church since.

When Sergio sang Ava Maria, he was in a Methodist Church.

They went to St Josephs before this happened, I have been going there since I was a kid went to school there even and I have seen them and their extended family there before but I do not know them and only noticed them once or twice but that is only going from memory as when I first saw the case they looked familiar and then I realized that is where I saw them.

Snyder is an interesting name its dutch but can also be Jewish. Form of German Schneider.

I see I missed a party last night after I fell asleep waiting for more news!

Can someone tell me, do I have last nights facts straight?:

-CPS has increased involvement

-The two older children are now living with one parent (still don't know which), and other parent is not allowed contact with kids

-This resulted from new Information detectives learned

-LE will give update today (Saturday)

Is that it from overnight? Thanks :)

Hi GardenLady!

The facts look right except for one...
I don't think LE will be giving an update until Monday, but I hope I am wrong about that. And I hope another sleuther can clarify this for us.

Why is her maiden name Snyder? In the interviews I saw her father and brother had Rodriguez as surname. I'm a bit confused:/

Studies have shown Tuxedo cats are 200 times smarter than any other cat. Shakespeare, Beethoven and Sir Isaac Newton owned one!:woohoo:

200 times smarter?

I guess that makes them the Mensa population of the Kitty world!

It is very very easy to forget that literally HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people read our words here.

Or should we say... Shakespeare, Beethoven, and Sir Isaac Newton were each owned BY a Tuxedo cat? :giggle:

One thing I keep thinking about, regarding Sergio's singing that night - wouldnt an opera singer have to be in good health to sing that well? As in, if there was any kind of drinking/substance abuse going on with Sergio, he wouldn't have been able to pull off such a good performance, would he?

I know the substance abuse idea is just speculation, btw...

Personally I'm wondering if perhaps one of the parents has become suicidal, threatening self harm, etc, due to the stress of the situation. Possibly exacerbated by drinking...?

Very sad. Paximus, I agree with what you've been saying, I just can't see SC harming those kids. Honestly I can't see it of RC either, even though she does seem more reserved than he does (some interpreted this as being "cold"). Maybe that makes me hopelessly naive as well lol... But yeah, I still cannot bring myself to suspect the parents yet, even ith latest developments.

Edit - autocorrect turned Paximus' name into Paxil.
:D

BBM

So... Paximus is now a mood stabilizer as well as being a romantic lawyer? Tee! Hee!

I don't think they are a couple. There is some kind of conflict going on with these two. It has crossed my mind that they may have been leading separate lives when this happened.
BBM
There are quite a few subtle hints to me that this is the situation.

I get the feeling maybe their relationship was more of a "working couple" instead of a "bonded couple". No snarkiness intended at all... it is a reality of life.

holy ****. reposting for those of us who are just waking up to the 15 new pages on the thread:

http://www.kvoa.com/news/police-cps-has-increased-involvement-in-celis-investigation/

Below is the TPD news release, in full:

"In the course of the continuing investigation into the disappearance of six year-old Isabel Celis, the Tucson Police Department has been in contact with Child Protective Services (CPS). Recently, detectives became aware of information regarding the welfare of the older Celis children. That information was shared with CPS for their consideration and determination relating to this investigation. Yesterday, CPS personnel responded to police headquarters to consult with detectives as well as the family. Subsequent to their assessment, CPS instituted certain measures to ensure the continued welfare of the Celis children. It needs to be stressed that is common practice for CPS to become involved in investigations regarding missing children. However, in keeping with our commitment to keep members of the media and our community informed of changes or developments in this investigation, we felt it important to advise you of the increased involvement of CPS.

Finally, because of the sensitive nature of this investigation, we will not be providing any additional information on this situation at this time."

a poster tried to link court records last night which have either been hidden or deleted.

fwiw, i had transcribed all of the above for SC, RC, JM, and LR onto a hard copy with the corresponding websites. with mod permission (which we don't have at the moment), i will post when/if deemed appropriate.

in other words, lost on the web doesn't mean we don't have them. i figured at some point this would happen.

thanks and kudos to all the late-nighters...
