A lot of missing people/children do not make it on to the FBI site, for whatever reason...Lisa is not on there, neither is Ayla...

That was a reporter's question. Let's not take it as fact.

Then it would seem all she would have had to do was say, that isn't fact and it would have just ended there, but she instead said, anything that found inside the home that was taken for investigative purposes she couldn't talk about.

The dog at the Celis home is different from JM's Boxer or Boxer/Pit etc.,

This is the dog at the Celis' home. Clearly this dog has shaggy hair compared to the Boxer etc.

I have seen pictures of three dogs at the Celis home. The boxer mix looking one, the old arthritic looking one and the little white one. The boxer mix looking one resembles the uncle/cousin's dog, but the white patch on chest is not there on both dogs.

Now, I'd like to hear that presser once again to try and catch more.

To those who listened to the pressor; what was Hawkes response to the question about a handwritten note in Isa's closet (that she wrote)?

How extensive of a note could a 6 year old have written? Most at that age are just learning to spell... not that it may not have merit, but just pondering out loud. Of course, they did not say it was written by Isa (if it even exists).

As I've thought for some time based on LE's approach, this would seem to suggest that the dog hit was NOT from a cadaver dog. I don't think they would say there are NO signs that indicate that she's not alive if they had a cadaver dog hit.

A cadaver dog certainly could have hit in the house. LE is not able to identify who the deceased person is....just that a deceased person was in the home.

I thought she said she was not aware of anything like that. I'll have to read the transcript or review the video.

Well, we have our next subject until the next sliver of news comes out: The Note. Any locals hear anything about it?

Well she is 6 what could be on a note?
Who would know about this note and is this info leaked by LE?

That was a reporter's question. Let's not take it as fact.

I agree. If it is unfounded though, sgt. hawkes missed a great opportunity to dismiss such baseless speculation (if this is such) that LE was bemoaning a few PCs ago.

The biggest problem in this case though is a almost complete lack of information/facts coming from LE in the first place!

Double edged sword.

So possibly 2 new pieces of info : a note in Isabel's closet, supposedly in her handwriting... Also, there were calls made to LE from that address in the past? But,they don't know who made the calls,or what they were about ??? Yeah, right ...

IMO, LE is dripping out info. Bit by bit.... JMO

Cadaver dog can hit on "Scent only" of a deceased person. The fact they said there are no sings Isa has died (despite a hit) is not to conclude she didn't die in the house. The dog can only confirm there was a deceased body not identify the person.

I think that if there were signs of a recently deceased body in the home, the Celises would have had a substantial amount of explaining to do and, unless they could come up with quite the explanation, police couldn't honestly say there was NO sign Isa isn't still alive.

Seems like there has been trouble in paradise for a while.

Interesting that is was Hawke and not Pacheco or the Chief (who were referenced in last night's article) as the spokesperson.
She said that the CPS prior contacts could have been to another family at that address, and that the number of contacts was not unusual.
But that was not what the article released at midnight said.

It sure wasn't what was in the previous article. They made it sound like it was for the Celis family. Now they are backtracking and saying it could have been another family staying in the home??

What other family? Are we back to discussing the coyote issue ie, illegal aliens?

If for one purpose only - the Celis need an attorney to set the record straight on the news reports. It's so unethical to have CPS reports made public.

Yes, they could but technically they can't say it was Isa. They have no hard evidence. The cadaver dog is a tool. It is likely the dog is correct....but LE can't arrest, convict or anything else...w/o the body, DNA or a confession.

The cadaver dog hit in the IRWIN house too and they're walking around free. They needed the body or a confession (attorneys would not let LE question them)

On the topic of Drug related issues and the Cartel perception... Let's just speculate this scenario for a second... If SC was in some way involved in the Meth business or a user then that would explain " who have we had in our home who could have done this " and the appearance to neighbors of strange people coming and going and appearing as cartel activity... Not only that but it could also put this scenario in play... Let's say maybe he left a teaner lay out and Isa thought it was a bag of sugar candy and swallowed down the Meth, she overdosed. SC then took the body somewhere and cleaned the house up and staged the scene as would be the typical behavior of a tweaker. The residue of meth use would also cause a cadaver dog to hit on the smell of death. IDK but my thought is that if your kid accidentally OD'd on your drugs you just wouldn't take her to the ER and having a nurse for a wife you wouldn't go waking her up to tell her about it. Not to mention... if you had a late night at the ball field and you need to be up early for another game.. Wouldn't you think you would goto bed and not watch a 9 inning pro ball game on tv. And the statement ' after they all went to bed, I watched the d'backs game ' an indicater that he was up to no good, hitting the tweak pipe... He is calm in the 911 call because he is on a come down from using and he is emotionally disconnected from the situation as well.. Not only that but he has a sense of paranoia and gives what appears to be a detailed alibi and without any called ending salutation he simple hangs up the phone with the 911 operator.
Above BBM. I realize real life ha p4ohibited me from reading every single post in the Last 48 hours so I'm lost as to what neighbor made this statement re:above BBM. I am only aware of the neighbor AS stating the COMPLETE OPPOSITE...she said the family was quiet and that she did not see many people ever coming or going from the Celis home.. that it was just the kids she would see/hear outside playing(2 brothers and Isa) and occasionally Becky and Sergio outside as well...am anxious to know where this completely opposite description of the Celis home came from..

TiA:)

CYA Briefings and they're working on schedules for investigators for the coming three weeks, so it doesn't make me feel confident that they have anything that substantial. For all the dogs involved, I wish one of them would do some digging. At this point, finding Isabel seems like it will be by a fluke discovery, but at least LE is keeping it out there for more people to keep looking.

There has to be something going on with the boys, imo. LE focused on their room, along with Isa's room. Does the older boy have any issues? I guess we will never be able to discuss it, if he did.
