True could pay off a drug deal possibly if the dealers were also into child trafficking ( I hate typing that)

Or simply some messed up methhead who lives nearby and saw an opportunity.....

NG show it was said Fbi told them not to talk. I think they wanted to watch their media release first.
I heard NG state that the FBI did NOT tell the parents not to talk, but how would she know this?

True enough. Unless they grabbed the wrong family's child.

Don't they usually do something really public with their victims, to terrorize the family? (Digits sent through the mail, heads on a stick?) Or have I watched too many movies? My point being, if it was a d.c., she would have been found by now. Even if it WAS the wrong family's child.

I have some kids, so I understand what pediatric means....lol (no snark intended)

The other person was mentioning mental health services in regards to Becky. That's why I was confused. Probably phrased my sentences wrong.

Im sorry, ya I probably misunderstood your question, and I did type it out right LOL I didnt mean to sound like you had no clue. :)

Thanks, Tam, for bringing up the Payne case. I agree that TPD has learned from that case, which is why they are treading cautiously. (Great recap, btw.)

Thanks, Anita. I lived and breathed that case for more than 2 years. I went to their memorial service. It was one of the saddest experiences I have ever witnessed.

Probably HLN asked why not talk to them. They say FBI told them not to. TPD said we have passed that on to the parents. So my guess is they wanted to view their 1st media release. jmo no one lied actually.

Am I the only one who saw TEARS in Sergio Celis' eyes? Not in the beginning, but in the middle and towards the end. :rewinding dvr to check it out:

One thing I agree with Nancy about is that a Little League game is a great place for pervs to hang out.

That is basically what I am saying. They are thinking they may find something to implicate the parents because if they found some evidence during a search based on permission from the parents that pointed to a stranger abduction, there would be no issue with having it admissible in court.

A search warrant has to specifically state what LE can search and what they can remove from the home. (i.e. family computer, Isabel's pillow, etc.) They can't remove anything else or search an area not listed on the warrant.

I dont get that at all. They are trying to find any evidence of who may have kidnapped Isa. The place where the child goes missing from is always searched and a SW obtained. Mark Lunsford and his family had to leave their home immediately as a SW was obtained and they came in and searched the home she vanished from.

There would still be an issue. If the stranger is arrested and then the DA wants to enter the evidence they found against the stranger in Isa's home (example:fingerprints on the window screen/blind-footprints in room) then his attorney would say they did not even have a proper SW to obtain those items and file a motion to throw the evidence out. Evidence has been tossed before when LE did not have a proper SW.

Exactly. That is what I just said. They must give the Judge what they are looking for. I have no doubt the screen and possibly the window in question may have been removed and taken in.

IMO

Butttttttt, the family did talk today and Nancy didn't address the family press conference at all. She showed it at the beginning of her show but this was a fill-in after the fact. The show came across confusing as I was waiting for her to discuss the family press conference and they discussed why the family isn't talking.

That is tomorrow's "bombshell" ;)

The whole thing was so horrible. Those poor kiddos just didn't have a chance in this life. :( I hope their mom has cleaned herself up and does good in honor of them. The iconic photo of the two of them still haunts me. :(

I did not know of any charge. Do you have a link for that info. tia

It's on the AZ courts site.... I can post the URL if that's permitted (I'm not sure). Minor (possession), relatively speaking, but the g'father lives in one of the higher traffic routes for weed entering the US from Mexico. A very corrupt border city called Agua Prieta (he lives in Douglas, AZ - home of the drug tunnels).

That happened to a child here in Texas many years ago. I can't remember her name, but the perp saw her at a baseball game and followed her. They actually caught him. Sorry, I don't remember the details.

What she heard, lives i a guest house next door, around 6:30 am, dogs all barking, their's and hers.

OK... I don't know where that came from, or why nobody else has mentioned it, but that is important.

THANK YOU!! I saw two loving parents doing everything in their power to stay composed, in order to send several messages:

1. Thank you to LE for your support and help finding our child. 2. This is not about us, it's about finding Isa 3. We will do WHATEVER it takes to bring her home safe 4. A message to their Isa, in case she can hear them, about how much they love her and will never give up finding her.

I thought the first message was extremely important, it signals that they are in partnership with police. They know they are innocent, so there is no adversarial relationship with LE (even though they haven't been officially "cleared"). In addition, the very heartfelt thanks to the millions who are praying and searching for Isabel. If they felt guilt, I think they would maybe express gratitude for support, but not get emotional when they mentioned, specifically, that support.

This was in Arkansas, not Texas, but Morgan Nick was actually abducted from a Little League baseball game. The perp was there watching her. Morgan has never been found and her kidnapper remains at large.

If the parents had a drug habit, I am sure it would've been brought up by now. The only mention of drugs I have heard is a paraphernalia charge against the father from like 1993.

I don't recall seeing a charge from 1993.

I found charges for the following that I posted yesterday here:
Father's Charges

1997 DUI / Over Speed Limit

1998 Suspended License/ No Current Registration

4/13/2012 - Animal Violations (Vaccinations & Licenses), Dog Running At Large

2005 - Speeding

2007 - Speeding

2011 - Failed To Stop Red Light

If they realized it was the wrong family, they are not going to be advertising it by tormenting the wrong family by sending body parts. Serves no purpose other than to make them look incompetent in the eyes of their competitors. When these abductions take place, they generally hit the road fast and back to their own turf/safe place.

However, the connection to Douglas and the hinky uncle (JM) has me very concerned.

BWDIK (but what do I know)...
