Jhessye...I haven't forgotten you, sweetie pie. None of us will. We will keep coming back here hoping for some new discoveries that will ensure justice for you, Jhessye.

I have tried following Jhessye's case but become overwhelmed at times so I apologize in advance if this question has been asked--but has LE taken a cadaver dog into the apartment yet?

They have had search warrants for the house, that even included taking the contents of the sink drain traps. I think they have done a most thorough search of the house for evidence.

Jhessye's last day at school was September 22nd. She was reported missing October 11th.

Jhessye's sibling described Jerice coming home and finding Jhessye watching TV with a neighbor boy. She called our sweet little one a "ho", then dragged her into the bedroom and abused her. Since Jhessye did not attend school on Friday, September 23rd, I think this assault occurred on Thursday night.

That is 18 days between the initial assault and the day Jerice called police. IIRC the sibling, on a least one occasion (maybe more I need to look back at the report), she took Jhessye from the closet while Jerice was gone and gave her food and water.

I have many questions about this. Was Jhessye able to walk, did they discuss what was going on? Was J begging her to get help or to call the police? I haven't voiced these questions because they are painful to even consider and I don't want to seem as if I am questioning the actions of the siblings. They are completely blameless in all this and are victims too.

Have any of you ever wondered what it was Jerice said to the other children to keep them from telling anyone Jhessye was in that closet? I shudder to think how they dealt with that. I also wonder if any of the other children missed a lot of school during this period? Did teachers notice anything unusual in their behavior?

Those are all very good questions.

The abuse and isolation and pain that Jhessye endured, plus the trauma her situation caused to the other children.....I can't stand to think about it. Those poor helpless, innocent children were trapped in a nightmare.

This case is so awful. It keeps me up at night.

Jerice.....LE is coming for YOU!

It's one of the first things on my mind in the am, now add Bianca...and it's just not good these days.

Where are you babies?

Jhessye, you are not forgotten.

Beautiful! Bumping for Jhessye!

My thoughts and prayers are with you Jhessye. I pray that you will be found soon.

I pray for justice for the wrongs that were done to you and I pray that your sisters and brothers are safe and loved as you deserved to be.

May the person responsible for all that has happened to you be brought to justice and pay for everything that was done to you. We love you baby girl.

Jhessye.....where are you sweetie?

Give it up Jerice. Do the right thing. Tell somebody where you hid Jhessye's body.

Jhessye- we are going to see this thing through, we will not stop until the person who did this is in a cell for a long long time and can never hurt anyone again!!!!!
We will fight for you baby girl!!!!

The Hand that Rocks the Cradle

On October 11, 2011 five-year-old Jahessye (Jessie) Shockley seemingly fell of the face of the earth. One month later her mother Jerice Hunter stared into the lens of a television camera and declared, “Jahessye, mama coming to get you. Mama coming!”

America is in denial that evil exists in the hand that rocks the cradle. We prefer to think of our monsters as shrouded, faceless men lurking in the dark. However, a current case illustrate that as convenient as this perception may be, moms and dads can also be infected with anti-social impulses, destructive compulsions, and violent tendencies.

It was reported that Jahessye disappeared from the family home under the care of three siblings while her mother ran errands. There were no signs of forced entry so police initially believed that Jahessye had walked out through the front door and wandered away when no one was paying attention. A hastily issued Amber Alert and thorough search of her Glendale, Arizona neighborhood provided no leads to her whereabouts.

Thinking of you, sweet angel! Praying that justice prevails soon...:angel2::heartbeat::heartbeat:

Even if they are 100 million percent certain that Jhessye's body isn't in the landfill, I still think they should have done a comprehensive search. They might have found blankets, bedding or other evidence with Jhessye's DNA. Or who knows, maybe they would have found something incriminating written by Jerice. But we will never know because Glendale PD decided to abandon the search. :(

But landfills are so vast it's ridiculous. Even after pinpointing the most probable location in the landfill, they can't always recover a body. It took weeks to find Lori Hacking's body and they knew the day she was disposed and out of which dumpster. So they knew the exact location, really. It still took 33 days and they had to go through 4600 tons of garbage.

LE in this case don't know when Jhessye was disposed of (ugh) and from what dumpster. That makes narrowing it down virtually impossible.

Still, some effort would be nice to see.

Easy. Those kids failed to call police or alert anyone because they were terrified. First they are tortured by their mother, likely for years. Strike one when it comes to confidence that they can be saved or the monster stopped. Then, after the mother was finally arrested, she gets out in no time. Strike two. After that, they are returned to their torturer. Strike three. At that point the feelings of powerlessness in the face of such a monster must have been intense.

These kids were scared to death, IMO. They knew if they did or said anything to help Jhessye be rescued, their mom might get away with it and then they'd be the next one in that closet.

Jhessye, you are not forgotten.

Oh. This really touched me.

God bless you sweet girl. You are our baby now. And we love you more than words can say.

gitana1 has me crying. I am here yet again to :bump: for our little Jhessye.

"We only know two things for certain. Jahessye Shockley did not fall of the face of the earth, and her mother should never have been allowed to regain custody of her children."
No Marc Klaas, Jhessye did not fall off the face of the earth. Nor was she abducted from a closet in her home by a stranger.

The sad truth is, she was killed by someone who should have loved and cherished her.

What was it that made you choose Jhessye to abuse Jerice? Was she constantly asking for her Auntie's? Did she tell you she wanted to go "Home"? Or was it her bright, happy spirit that you could not break. Did you see that light in her eyes, resent it? Were you angry with those who loved Jhessye for reporting you to CPS? Was it like Deja vu? Incredibly stupid of you I must say. With a record like yours, did you think the truth wouldn't be apparent? You knew once the older girls were taken from you, that they would tell the truth. That crap you spouted about telling CPS how to get your daughter to eat? She couldn't eat because she was traumatized by what you did to Jhessye. But you knew that didn't you?

The best part is, you'll never be able to bring another child into this world and hurt them. Where is she Jerice, where is Jhessye?

Jerice will take that poly the minute monkeys start flying out of my arse. MOO

:furious:

Do you hear that Jerice? LE is building a case against you. Why not help yourself and cooperate?

Tell them where Jhessye is. Save everyone from a lot more pain....including yourself. Don't put your other children through anymore trauma.

Jhessye needs to come home now.

BBM...I wish I were more confident in this. :(

Where are you, Jhessye? Please ask Laci and Conner to help you send us a sign before Christmas.
