Details of Disappearance
Carvalho was last seen in Golden Valley, Arizona on September 1, 2019. He lived with his mother and grandmother. He left home that day without telling anyone where he was going, never returned and has never been heard from again. His family reported him missing on September 30. Authorities at the time thought he might be on the way to Bremerton, Washington, but this was never confirmed.

On May 9, 2021, a year and a half after Carvalho's disappearance, his backpack was found in a remote area of Golden Valley. Authorities searched the vicinity and found no additional clues and no indication of Carvalho's whereabouts. His case remains unsolved.

Jordan Carvalho, 30, of Golden Valley, was reported missing by family members on Sept. 30, 2019.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, Carvalho was living with his mother and grandmother in Golden Valley; when the grandmother returned home on Sept. 1, 2019, Carvalho was not at the residence and had not told anyone that he was leaving.

On Sept. 12, 2022, a human skull was discovered in a wash near Ligurta Road and Unkar Drive in Golden Valley. Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives believe the skull washed up during recent flooding in the area. The remains were transferred to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office but could not be positively identified.
Jordan Carvalho, 30, was reported missing by family members in September 2019.

In March, detectives reached out to Othram Inc., a company that specializes in forensic genetic genealogy. On July 7, the remains were identified as 30-year-old Jordan Victor Carvalho of Golden Valley. Family members reported him missing on Sept. 30, 2019, after no one had heard from him in a few weeks.
