I found two guys who I think make good potential matches. Andrzej's case has very little information to go on while Brian's has good info but it doesn't all fit with JD. What do you all think about either guy as a PM?

#1) Andrzej Kosmakski - Circumstances of Disappearance - Andrzej was last seen May 10, 2000 in San Francisco, California.

I noticed the watch Andrzej is wearing looks similar to JD's watch.

#2) Brian Lee Vaughan August 14, 2000 Wellston, Oklahoma - Circumstances of Disappearance - An individual was convicted of first-degree murder for the shooting on Brian Vaughan. Brian's body has never been located.

I've linked below the only two articles about Brian's murder that I could find.

I wish there were more details about JD's "homicide by gunshot". How many times was he shot? Where on his body was he shot? What type of weapon? The timeline and circumstances of Brian's murder, for the most part, fit with JD's. JD's body was wrapped in a sleeping bag. Were garbage bags (or remnants) found with JD? Did Elliot, Brian's murderer, grab a sleeping bag along with the tent when he left to dispose of Brian's body? Would Elliot have had enough time to drive to AZ before his arrest? Was he released between his Aug. arrest and JD's Oct. discovery? Did an acquaintance/accomplice of Elliot relocate Brian's body? Brian's NamUs profile shows he was wearing jeans, t-shirt, and boots. Did Brian own a Hot Boat shirt? Are they sure about the boots?

  • When authorities arrested murder suspect Darrin Keith Elliott this week, the Wellston man was wearing wet, sand-covered shorts and tennis shoes, according to a sheriff's affidavit.
  • ...saw Elliott shoot Vaughan five or six times in the face with a .22-caliber semi-automatic rifle.
  • Elliott later wrapped the body in plastic garbage bags and a tent and discussed possible locations in which to dispose of the body

Has it ever been clarified if the initials were engraved professionally vs etched in with a blade as in, home-made? This Doe could be a homeless man obtaining whatever he could find, as opposed to him engraving his initials. Maybe the initials are a red herring?
