@PayrollNerd - I know you checked this for me on Friday - thought maybe Monday would give you something!

Anything on Maribel's case? Maybe Clement's attorney is still with covid- well not exactly covid - but health issues? That is why there is no hearing date. All I have is the trial starts on 9/8/22.

Okay this one is his burglary & theft charge he was found guilty on 4/18/22 & I have him being sentenced on 6/10/22 to 35 years in prison. Wondering why the have 2 other dates for sentencing if I already have that... I will just leave this case as is.

Okay! I got a response from the Pima Court. His next hearing is Sept 1st at 3:30pm. There's a listing of hearings on the attached report. I replied and told her that either something changed to force it to download to a PDF or my Firefox browser now does that. Not sure but either way I was able to duplicate her report. I looked in my Downloads Folder on my laptop and there are no prior downloads for this report. Weird.

The “jp” site is specific to the Consolidated Justice Court, Mr. Clements’ cases would not be found through that court.

Hearing information was available on the Superior Court calendar site you reference below, I was able to run that report quite easily. It could be that you needed to add a few more perimeters – I searched as follows:

7/19/22 Update: This is at least the fourth time the trials have been rescheduled. This time, it was due to health issues faced by one of Clements’ attorneys. There was a review hearing in Pima County on Tuesday, July 19 & the judge confirmed the new dates for both trials. Clements will face a jury in Maribel’s death starting Thursday, 9/8/22. Jury selection could last at two days & the trial is scheduled to run through Friday, 9/30/22. Clements will face a jury in Isabel’s death starting Thursday, 2/2/23. Jury selection will last at least two days & the trial starts on Monday, 2/6/22 & could run through Friday, 3/3/23.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The first of two murder trials for Christopher Clements begins Thursday, Sept. 8, with jury selection.

The jury selection, which is expected to last two days, will be closed to the public and media.

Clements’ first murder trial is for Maribel’s death. Opening statements are scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 13, and the trial could last through Sept. 30.

Clements will face a different jury for Isabel’s death. That trial is scheduled to start Feb. 2, 2023, and could run through March 3.
