I hope we will learn more, this case is crazy seeing who was the suspect. I am afraid LE may discover more cases between his conviction and now. IMO you do not shoot at police unless you are hiding much more than a stolen truck. In this case it was murder, but who knows what else, if anything. And why would he kill and steal a truck unless he needed it for another purpose.

The body of missing camper Russell Vinton was found by authorities as whirlwind investigation takes another turn.

Concerning Champion:

When two Lake Havasu Police Department detectives went to investigate, a man inside the truck started firing at them, according to the Bullhead City Police Department, which is investigating the shooting.

The detectives took cover and returned fire. The suspect then started driving toward them and rammed their vehicle, police said.

The detectives continued firing and struck the suspect when he got out of the truck.

Patrick Neal Champion, 61, of Tennessee was pronounced dead at the scene.

Thanks for this, it clarifies she is/considers herself a woman, so the official name is the male one we know, but she goes with the female one and appears dressed as a female.
Again no judgement but explains the case you found and re-cited in thread #20, where self surgery is mentioned.

If she appeared as a woman, maybe Russell had his guard off when approached by her/him.
It opens up a lot of possibilities IMO.
