That doesn't attach in a mistrial, unless the judge decrees it.
The comment was in response to a comment about trying again after an acquittal, not a hung jury.

Hung Jury: Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Trial Ends in Mistrial
by Hannah Rappleye and Tracy Connor
NORRISTOWN, Pa. — Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial ended Saturday with a jury that was deadlocked on all counts, punctuating an epic scandal with a giant question mark.
After more than 50 hours of deliberation over six days, the jury of seven men and five women was unable to reach a verdict, and Montgomery County Judge Steven O'Neill declared a mistrial.
"Do not in any way feel you have let the justice system down," O'Neill told the jury...

UPDATE: the prosecutor WILL try the case again #AMJoy #CosbyTrial
I would want to learn a lot more about that. For instance do we know how many days those 53 calls spanned? Someone calling somebody 53 times in a short time frame seems excessive.http://www.wqow.com/story/35606275/cosbys-accuser-denies-they-were-romantically-involved
I had a hair appointment this afternoon. As my hairstylist trimmed my hair we discussed the Cosby trial. She stated she believed that Constand and Cosby were having an affair. She said the 53 phone calls after the alleged assault is what led her to that conclusion.
I told her I believed the victim. I felt like pulling my hair out at this point lol. ullhair:
I am wondering if others on the jury are having difficulty with the fact that Constand called Cosby 53 times and thinking along the same lines as my hairstylist. Is that reasonable doubt?
Or vice versa.Ugh. I would be looking for a new hairdresser.
It's not reasonable doubt for me. For one thing, do we know what the conversations consisted of? I don't think they were recorded. For all we know, Cosby could have been blackmailing her or threatening her.
And would they use the same jury pool? In other words would they make the case for it being moved to another location?Does anyone know if the retrial will have the same judge?
Maybe if more of the other women are allowed to testify they can get a conviction...moo.

Judge to Cosby: This is a nullity...This is not victory...You remain on bail for 3 charges of indecent assault #CosbyTrial
Good. I'm glad for that.
Well now he can get rid of his cane and his eye sight will return.
