The Felon also uses his status as member of an oppressed group to try and gather support.

(By the way as an Elvis Presley fan i hate it when black activists pretend Elvis never acknowledged his debt to black singers when he did).

OT: Elvis Presley drove a truck for my Granddaddy. Been a while, yes indeedy.

IMHO Bill Cosby needs to stay wight where he is.

Bill Cosby denied parole as board says former actor needs to meet more requirements - CNN

Denied Parole! This, the man who continues to deny that he is a rapist?! No!
Is it wrong that I lol?
The PA Supreme Court hasn’t yet ruled on his December appeal; his attorney argued Cosby is innocent of drugging and raping one woman based on the fact 5 other women testified against him in the trial and that’s not fair! (paraphrasing haha)
Also a second point argued on appeal; he’s innocent because he thought he had a deal with the prosecutor that he wouldn’t be prosecuted if he gave the deposition, (more lol) the same deposition where he admitted he bought Quaaludes for women he wanted to have sex with and when asked if they were given without the women’s knowledge, his attorney told him not to answer.

He’s trying to have charges dropped on legal technicalities, to remove evidence of his guilt that was permitted to be introduced in his trial.

For a guy that himself claims is enjoying prison, and adapting well, finally giving up coffee after many years of trying and is now in shape, sure is spending a lot of time, effort, and money trying to get out.

Bill doesn't get it yet. He's spent his entire adult life barking the orders, and can't quite understand that the worm has turned.

A true narcisssist.

Sounds like a very complicated technicality involving Cosby's 5th Amendment rights and his testimony at a civil trial. DA should have foreseen the outcome. Wonder why he made a such a bad decision?

Hopefully, we'll have an attorney explain this for us.

If I remember correctly, the deal between Cosby and the previous prosecutor wasn't in writing.

The prior agreement was apparently collaborated during trial testimony.

“A written agreement from the previous Montgomery County prosecutor, Bruce Castor, stated that he would not criminally prosecute Cosby in the Constand case. Castor testified that while he was district attorney, he promised not to file criminal charges against the comedian if Cosby would testify in a civil lawsuit that was filed by Constand in 2005.

Castor had determined that the prosecution would have trouble corroborating forensic evidence without Cosby confessing to the alleged charges.

Seeking ‘some measure of justice’ for Constand, D.A. Castor decided that the Commonwealth would decline to prosecute Cosby for the incident involving Constand, thereby allowing Cosby to be forced to testify in a subsequent civil action, under penalty of perjury, without the benefit of his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination,” the court document said.…”
