For certain individuals, anger triggers the libido. The sexual attack is a means to overpower and humiliate. If BSL is this type of rapist, Mickey, herself, did not invoke the rage. It was already there.

Certainly BSL was not the only lonely man in Lafayette that night. Yet, how many forcefully attacked and raped, or attempted to rape, a helpless, unsuspecting victim? BSL had a gf, so why was he calling escort services? It's actually pretty typical for an "anger rapist" to have a normal relationship with a wife or gf, and to rely on the sex trade for a different kind of experience. Since last week when we learned he was calling escort services, I've been wondering if he had a history with escorts which caused him to be blacklisted.

This rapist is strongly identified with anger and retaliation...
getting even with women for real or imagined wrongs.

They are angry with women and they use sex as an extremely potent weapon to punish them.

This type of rapist uses the blitz approach, subduing the victim with the immedate application of injurious force

BBM: I would just like to share that I dated a guy for several years who would become aroused when I cried. If we got into an argument which caused me to become emotional and cry...he got aroused. It was (and still is) something that affected me greatly. He had lots of other control issues as well. I just can't understand how seeing someone hurt (whether emotionally or physically) could be arousing.

IMO, most here are mistaken about inmate, or 'client', (as they prefer to call themselves) life in Angola. Far from the days of being the most violent prison in America, Angola is now the model for lack of violence among the general population. Even though most are lifers, more than half of the 5,000 claim to be 'born-again Christians' and attend regular services at one of the 5-6 churches on grounds. 'Clients' actually enforce their own set of rules which bans violence and profanity. Those who will not abide by the 'rules' are segregated in a separate cellblock away from the general population. IMO, BSL will be a model prisoner. After a short period of isolation for everyone to adjust, BSL will be attending church services, maybe even attend the on-campus seminary to become a preacher. Exactly the type prisoner Warden Cain likes and allows privileges to for compliance with his non-violent prison. BSL will flourish in that environment, for the next 50 years or so.....or as long as Cain is Warden. At least he won't be able to prey on young women in there....

....to become a preacher....in my humble opinion sir....this is delusional....as Texas will have fried him long before he gets that particular certificate......we do.....have an express lane for the death penalty......

I'm just curious and can't remember, did ACI ever come back and say whether or not BSL was one of the guys he had on his radar? ACI...you lurking at all? Just curious and can't remember.

I think he was told to back off from the case before he could really get close to anyone from what I remember.

And now we know the reason he was told to back off was that they were already on to their guy, although the situation seemed like it could have been handled better.

He was working his way through the list of RSOs in the area. He would have gotten to BSL, at some point...the combo of Tier 3 RSO + DWT was probably the proverbial blinking neon sign which read "CHECK ME OUT FIRST!", I'd imagine.

You're welcome, but now I'm having second thoughts. I deliberately worded it to say BSL lists it as his employer, the understsnding being that it could be false info. I'll have to add "unverified". I think it should be considered as a possibilty, but don't want anyone to mistake it for fact.

I understand your comment, or at least think I do, but in her defense, I never, in all of her postings, saw Mama espousing any particular religion, but only appealing to the better part in all of us to maybe pause and do some introspection before we appoint ourselves judge, jury and executioner. She stepped on my toes a few times, but I think maybe they needed to be stepped on. BSL is where he should be now, and will be there the rest of his natural life. I will leave it to the God that I choose to believe in what becomes of him after that. JMO

Well it seems to have slowed down on here and one poster isn't going to post anymore, so lets see if my thoughts can bring the post count up.

Lets say that the 18 year old that BSL was with was consensual, but she later changed her story. After all she was the younger cousin of BSL's girlfriend and we all know that sometimes younger girls do have a crush on their cousin's boyfriends and she did do it consensual, but some how her mother found out and her cousin got upset and the mother got real angry and persuasive and the 18 year old found the easy way out by saying that it was rape. Remember BSL left a wash rag with DNA on it. Why leave easy evidence like that behind? Also it was said that the 18 year was a virgin and apparently had never done that before and was upset when he went in her mouth. If BSL was innocent and chose to plead guilty because of him being in the military and what not, that might of turned him for the bad that he became. Remember having to spend 8 years in prison, if he was innocent, had to have been a bad experience. Remember there are actually innocent people in prison.
When 'Queennie' posted about her family member being in prison and being innocent got me to thinking.

Well, you cannot leave out the fact that he plead not guilty to Mickey and Lisa despite the evidence.
It wasn't until he was probably told by his attorney that the evidence against him couldn't be beat. He saw that his game was over, and plead guilty later on.

Same with the rape case.
He left DNA behind in that case, because he didn't think. He was stupid to say the least. He also did stupid things in the Lisa Pate case and Mickey Shunick case, but those stupid things didn't come out until later on. With the rape thing, it was more abrupt and he got caught in his tracks earlier on.

Him being put in prison 8 years even though he was innocent, and that in turn making him kill also doesn't add up. Lisa Pate was before BSL was ever sentenced to prison. BSL was going to rape/kill regardless of if that 1999 girl was ever in the picture. I'm sure that after her, he just decided to make sure to go through with killing them so he could never be reported again.

After all, a knife was put up to the 1999 girl to make her comply. Just like he did with Mickey.
