BSL - More Victims????

I sure hope Texas Ranger's can track down his old truck. Did he sell it, burn it, or junk it?

I haven't thrown Jessica Cain's name out because I thought 15 years ago was to early in BSL's career. But if he worked at a Toyota dealership here it makes me wonder.

https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/2793/0/

I wonder, too, Housto Mom, but like you, I've been cautious not to stretch beyond the realm of reasonability. Jessica disappeared 08/17/1997, in La Marque, near Galveston. One month earlier, Tina Bowen disappeared from Conroe, and on June 7, 1997, 14 year old Erica Ann Garcia's body was found in an abandoned hospital in Houston. She had been beaten, strangled, and possibly raped. On May 16, Sarah Sapaugh was kidnapped, but escaped, and in April, Laura Kate Smither, 12, went mssing from from Friendswood, and was found dead in Pasadena. Edward Reece is almost certainly responsible for Smither's murder, but due to lab mishandling of the DNA evidence, he was never charged. Nor was he charged for the kidnapping because the victime reneged her testimony.

Assuming Reece is guilty in two incidents, the other three remain unsolved. Could BSL be responsible? We know he had contacts in Montgomery County where Bowen disappeared, and it's certainly not a stretch to think he might have gone prowling in Houston. Garcia had been to a teen club the night she was killed. Jessica Cain was out with friends one night and was last seen leaving a Bennigan's on Bay Area Blvd near I-45. The next morning, her worried father found her pick up truck on I-45 in La Marque. She's never been seen again. A white pick up truck was reported in that case, too. And a cherry red Isuzu.

According to her friend, Cain was last seen walking towards a 1993 or newer cherry-red Isuzu Amigo parked behind her truck on the shoulder. The Amigo is described as being in mint condition with a hardtop, dark-tinted windows, no chrome, rounded wheel wells and a spare tire mounted in the center rear.

Authorities are also searching for the driver of a mid-to-full-size white pickup truck who may have been a witness during the time Cain disappeared on the interstate. Witnesses reported seeing the car pursuing Cain's vehicle at a high rate of speed. The driver's truck is described as having a white toolbox mounted near the cab and a light bar with rotating yellow/orange lights.

Jonatha David Drew was once a POI in Jessica's disappearance, but again, he was never charged. The list goes on and on. Why?? Why so many unsolved? What happened to Mickey was horrific. Her family will never heal. Not really. I'm only grateful that they were spared years and years without answers.

Did we post about Jessica's memorial the other night?

Where ever BSL did he basic training, there could be victim there too. Camp Lejeune maybe?

Supposedly BSL has burned 2 trucks but I don't know the date the first one burned and although the person seems to have known facts about BSL all along I can't be 100% certain.

Bringing this over from the "Brandon Scott Lavergne- Guilty Plea and LWOP" thread pg. 2 (http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8276323&posted=1#post8276323):

I asked verified insider GarryB, who knows Brandon's half bio sister in Texas, if Brandon had been visiting his sister when Ali went missing. He replied:
"We talked about this, but she doesn't have a clue. Too long ago. She did say that was about a mile from where she lived though..." (it's post #33)

We know from the confession/papers from court Friday that BSL was driving around Lafayette calling escort services.

I have to wonder if there aren't any missing/deceased escorts in Lafayette that haven't gotten much attention (and prostitutes from around the Four Corners area of Lafayette, as he wasn't driving that far from there).

I agree Bessie and why I posted a "Big Rumor" I just thought if other's are out looking on other missing woman, that probably should be on the back of their mind. There is no way to verify this at all unless LE states such, which I do not see them doing.

LE might not want to panic the public with what was found. Moo

Also, LE was very quiet poor a period of time during the ms investigation, all while gathering a great amount of evidence and following many leads.

I think sometimes we need to be patient, not quiet and inactive but patient.

I believe on this particular night escorts may have not been available thus causing him to find someone. I think LE should definitely look into that theory however.

IMO, an "escort" may have been his victim of choice at the time, but he somehow couldn't find one.

However, he saw Mickey, and based that his thought process could possibly be that only "women of the night" would be out in the early hours of the a.m., he targeted her.

Is that area known for prostitution?

Someone I know was targeted by a perv. as being a "prostitute"--who was NOT, simply because that woman was walking to her car after a concert alone, early a.m., and was in an area being renewed and previously known as an area where prostitutes were. And, further, she was screamed at and called a "*advertiser censored*".

BL probably objectified her in his mind, because his mind is perverted.

No the area is not known for prostitution.... the area they were referring to was "Four Corners" which is where he was coming from. It is nearer to I-10.

Further, I can't imagine that on a Friday night, he wouldn't have been able to get in touch with an escort service....

maybe word on the street is the prostitutes knew not to go with him, maybe he ruffed them up in the past. When a John is ruff, the girls spread who he is and such. They probably rebuked him...adding to his narcissistic self, he had to take it out on some other poor girl.

It really pizzes me off that he said he was calling escort services. If he did as a cover story, or otherwise, doesn't negate the fact that he targeted a woman out alone in the early a.m.

Why does his calling escort services have anything to do with this crime?

Because he was thinking of his RSO status and Prison time: He was deflecting, wanted it known he uses escort services and didn't kill mickey for sex that is why.

My bold above. So then, why did he kill Mickey, in your opinion?

I wonder if this guy has any link to the murders in Jennings, La which isn't that far away from Lafayette?

So, you are seeing it from his perspective. I understand.

I am sure LE KNEW he was calling escort services from reviewing his phone records.
