I'm so relieved to hear of the arrest. I can only hope he will have some shred of decency and tell LE what he did with Aramazd.

I'm not sure if we're allowed to link Heavy.com here but there is a Sheriff's Dept. release there with a description of Ara Sr. It says he's 5'3". That's quite short. I didn't know that. I don't know, but I think that fact might have helped people remember if they saw him near any of the pertinent scenes.

Wow. He is strikingly small. I think you're right - people would remember him.

I'm relieved to hear he's been arrested. It seemed obvious to me that he killed his son. Most people who hide their kid from the other parent, but alive, go with them.

The father of a 5-year-old boy from South Pasadena who mysteriously disappeared more than two months ago was arrested Friday on suspicion of murder, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said.
The arrest comes after an extensive search for the boy that reached from his hometown to Santa Barbara and down to Orange County. Officials have not said whether they found the boy’s remains or what evidence led to the arrest.

How awful! It was awful before knowing AA Sr was keeping little Ara from his mother hopefully safe, but this is truly heinous. I'm glad LE feels they have enough for an arrest and conviction. Little Ara's mother must be distraught.

My guess is he was getting ready to go on the run so they needed to get that murder arrest warrant quick. He definitely dyed his hair blonde. This is exactly what Scott Peterson did when he was about to flee to Mexico when he was arrested in La Jolla, CA

I'm heartsick. We knew this would be the ending to little Ara's disappearance, but we didn't want to believe it. I'm absolutely devastated to know this took little Ara on a last fun trip to Disneyland then purposefully killed that sweet little boy. I need to know why. I mean, I think I know why, but I need to hear it from this horrible, evil person. He's the devil.

I just feel lost right now. I really started letting myself believe he was possibly alive somewhere. I am so sorry for sweet little Ara's momma. Her world is forever broken.

Me too GigTu. It's been a number of hours since I heard this news and I am still dumbstruck. Of course it was a possibility -- more likely that little Ara wasn't alive, but I couldn't get past his heritage and little Ara being his namesake that gave me hope.

I cannot fathom what Ara Jr's mother is experiencing at this moment.

Poor little Ara I think after Disneyland he said something or maybe threw a fit to go home to mommy but what ever it was threw into a rage.

It was so clear took a bunch of pills to set himself and car on fire but passed out before he lit the match. He still will burn in hell alright just not in the car.

One of the first reports said the neighbors cámara showed dad dropping Ara's grandma and aunt between 1-2 am then at 3am surveillance cámara in Orange County captured dad and the boy. (Not 100% sure)
Then dad was seen again at 8am without the boy at Lake Cachuma.

I haven't read any articles stating he was in Orange County on the night/early morning of the 21st other than at Disneyland. Do you have a link to that article stating they were seen on the neighbor's surveillance tape that night then by another surveillance camera in OC at 3am especially when police have stated they don't know his whereabouts at 3am. Thanks.

Vegas has one of the busiest airports in the world. He probably thought with his makeover he could slip out undetected.

Do you have a link to a news story stating his intention was to kill himself? My understanding is he hasn't provided an explanation for the gas. In my opinion it might have been to cover up any evidence or else pretend the kidnapper knocked him out and tried to burn him and his car but his story has holes such as he stated he doesn't remember the attackers so he can't provide an explanation but hoped they would read into it the way he wanted. The last person a narcissist would kill is themselves.

LE must have some good solid evidence he murdered his son or even someone knew and came forward. Look how long it took LE to release the info about the car doused with gasoline.

Not sure if you guys saw this particular video with Gigi graciettes report but I believe she says that he had been planning it for a while (his sons murder) and that they may have had some concern he would soon take his own life. although I'm feeling like he probably thought it was a matter of time
