I really do not think this person would do this to her family. Someone could have followed her out of the mall where she went to the ATM machine. It's scary but this stuff does happen.:(
It was mentioned in MSM that Ventura PD and Ventura County Sheriff's Office were also involved in the search, so this might be a hint.

I don't believe this is a voluntary disappearence or at all similar to the Ohio teen MB.

This is a grown woman with a responsible job....I think if she did leave of her own accord she'd have contacted her family/LE by now. I understand teens being afraid to contact someone but not a nurse in her 30s...

I hope im wrong....

It's really irritating to me that SBPD has not been more forthcoming about ANY clues about a possible route that car could have taken. The SM rumors lead us locals to believe the car headed south. I believe LE has some idea of where the car went and at what time. If they want us to look for the car (such an average looking car) they needed to give us a bit more information.

There are only so many routes out of Santa Barbara. It either is or isn't true about the ATM. Just let us know - if there's really no ATM activity at all, then I fear self-harm or a sexual predator. If there was ATM activity, then it was a kidnap/robbery (which given what else has been going on in SB since CV hit, seems most likely to be the case).

Why this is not considered possible foul play is another huge mystery. She is gone. Her car is gone. This is totally unusual behavior. She left her phone behind (but apparently took purse or wallet? Since it wasn't mentioned as being at home?)

Nurses in SB are indeed stressed by CV, but not just by the actual cases. The psychiatric issues have been rife. Crime is up. Tourism is gone, the streets are owned by homeless from all over (IMO). A person coming home, who once might have run into several neighbors or been part of a group of cars, may now be pretty alone. I want to know how close she was to the freeway and whether she was close to major secondary roads.

It would be so great if police could at least mildly suggest that perhaps Ashley's car should be looked for near certain freeways, perhaps the ones on the route toward her parents' house. Get her face out there in MSM more. And the type of car.

This thread is doing more than any local press to find Ashley. I just wish I knew what part of town she lived in. I have lots of SB people on my own FB and they'd all like to know that too. People need their memories jogged. LE seems to definitely think she's involuntarily missing - but aside from telling us how they've looked for her, there's so little info to help find her.

While doing an OSINT run on her tonight and so far came across something interesting. Found her profile on a social media/travel site called TourBar. Find a Travel Partner and Travel together!. You have to make a profile to see the whole profile, which I did. It seems that int includes general login activity info. Apparently the most recent login was this week.

However it should also be kept in mind that possibly a relative or law enforcement may have also accessed while going through a computer of something in the course of the investigation.

I took a screenshot and will share here to save others the hassle of making a profile.

Wow, ur a great detective. True what u said could be others accessing it. It is hopeful still.

If her friends are saying she's very responsible etc. Then I don't think it was her using her ATM card.

It doesn't make sense that she would get off of work, come home and then decide to just take off.

Jmo.

I wonder if she has a history of mental illness or drug abuse or any medical issues? I think she was labeled at risk?
It’s kind of weird that she’s take the purse and cash and car and leave the phone at home, maybe she doesn’t want to be found?

which in these situations I’m not sure why people can’t just tell someone or leave a note and save people a lot of wasted time and stress.

I’m hoping she just took off and is safe somewhere

She returned home, we assume. If it was a payday, she could have gone for a quick run to the ATM. And then come back. But what would have prompted her to get in her car after that? Or did she immediately left with her car after returning home.

What scenario makes you leave your house with your purse but without your phone. There are multiple off course. But leaving your phone means to me: I'll be back in a few.

I came across one video (
) that seems to include more detail. It seems that there two ATM withdraws. It seems the withdraws were in Ventura, Ca. Its a 30 minute drive from her home in Santa Barbara.

What is also noted is that neighbors apparently reported observing her cats roaming her porch and the back door open.

Feel bad for the girl. people are spamming her saying she is leaking private info but from what I can tell she was only reading from online local news sites. She lists them in the description and I checked and it that though they all have the same publication date, and pretty much the same information, one from KSBY TV has an update timestamp an hour after original publication. I am guessing this girl only read what was there as she saw it before KSBY took it out.

Seems like she was just doing her job and did it well.

It was likely because her ATM card was used in Ventura, 4 days after her last sighting on 5/29/2020.
Ashley Zachman is missing from Santa Barbara
I have seen that information, but I'm not sure if the source is allowed here. Was it confirmed that the ATM card was successfully used or it was just an attempt? Wouldn't someone stealing her card try to use it at the first opportunity instead of waiting for days?

ETA: I see you added more in another post, but YouTube true crime blogs are generally not allowed as a source here, since they might introduce unverified info (aka rumors).

She changed from her work clothes. After that she immediately left in her car, without her phone. And then drove 30 min just to cash out something? That doesn't sit well with me.

Someone could have been in the car with her when she left for Ventura, or she picked up somebody along the way. Because it seems like she was in a hurry. Changes clothes, purse, car and gone.

So either she was in need for something, or possibly the person who accompanied her was.

BBM. The cash withdrawal reportedly happened days later. Perhaps she has other ties to Ventura. She could be staying with someone.

I normally would not put in a youtube video as a source but given that she does cites and links her sources in the description and the multiple comments from worried locals affirming its insider info and demands take it down, I felt it was not worthy. Still do.
