How was he killed?

He was stabbed.


An act of rage?

Can't get into that.
 
TWO press conferences? I saw the one that was outside. There's another one now.
 
Left behind glasses, credit cards...Did he leave in a hurry?

Charged with murder - not yet evidence of Special Circumstances but still searching

Time and place of murder not yet known

No more info to be revealed until preliminary hearing

Premeditation - no determination at this time

Surveillance of SW was a big part of the investigation

Can't say yet whether it was a hate crime - still trying to determine this - will not rule it out

Surveillance revealed that SW was cleaning a vehicle

No details disclosed of prior relationship - they went to the same high school - still developing evidence

Investigating communication between BB, SW, and others

Affidavit questions - why can't we have all the details?

Did anyone ask about where the crime was committed? Do we know it was at the park?
 
So I gotta say, the OC DA sounds like a decent fellow, doesn't seem like he was trying to score political points and is going to treat this case fairly.

I agree. He seemed fair, methodical, and humane rather than flashy.

Once he is charged with murder the DA will have ample time to apply additional charges later on. I have seen this happen in several cases, and believe additional charges will be added to SWs case as well.
 
property that belonged to SW had BB dna on it (ie the knife?) This is how I interpreted that statement.
Look here, this PC was useless imo. Wow.
Dumbfounded as to why this PC was held...other than to ask for the public to come fwd if they know anything.
Does anyone else wonder if a third party is involved, or if SW had help? Maybe SW lied about BB saying they were meeting up w a third party?
Has the search warrant for SW property and home been sealed as well?
When the entire Nation needed clarity we are given crumbs.
 
If anyone sees or read about the bail hearing - and IF, and that's a BIG IF - they give a prelim hearing date - please post! I'm following this one.

Yeah, first impression was good. Don't know much about him.

I liked that he chose his words carefully when he answered questions about both sets of parents suffering, but clearly not wanting to equate their suffering.
