Also, even allowing for the valley girl uplift at the end of a sentence, doesn't JuM appear to be asking the TV presenter what time Bob went missing?

Daughter RB posted: I confirmed that the trash was picked up on Wednesday, two days after Dad went missing. My sister remembered that the news crews and police were all over the neighborhood that day when she heard the trash truck coming, so one barrel was put out at that time. There were no large items disposed of.

You have got to be kidding me, cloud. You have absolutely got to be kidding me. She did not post that. This is a way beyond, jaw dropping, ridiculously insensitive and down right bizarre thing to write.

She was hoping for a hint clearly. See, at that moment, imo, she tossed JeM under the bus. Those words cant be undone. If JeM had anything to do with this disappearance, his wife was the one who started this ball rolling at least with the general public. :twocents:

Cloudajo, what was the date on that post of RB's?? I have to know. And you can bet PPD had a look at that garbage when it left the curb.

She just might have tossed herself under the bus too, because she clearly says 'we are thinking' and not 'he is thinking'.

Not only hoping for a hint, but clearly unprepared and even surprised by the question.

There are so many holes in the stories coming from the Michael's family it reminds me of swiss cheese.

Question- back to the mail situation- do we have it on the timeline that mail is delivered @ 10:30AM Mon-Sat on Mr. Harrods route? I can't find it there. TIA if anyone can point me to a post.

I haven't been back to read every thread Oriah, but I have absolutely no recollection at all of ever seeing a mail delivery time. I don't think we've ever had one. Has someone who knows provided you with that time? Because that could be significant, imo.

I'm going to search through pics just to see if there is one with mail on the table with a postmark. You never know.

The USPS. And I agree- could be very significant.

That photo won't be any good - it was taken two months after the event. Mrs Harrod might have left Bob's glasses untouched but she'd hardly be likely to leave the mail unopened. Sorry.

Still, knowing mail was delivered at 10.30am, give or take ten minutes or so....that gives us something to work with, doesn't it? The CL didn't come everyday, so Bob must have been in the habit of bringing his own mail in. I don't think the CL would have brought the mail in that day, after all. This seems to be what happened with her:

Arrives at Bob's just before Noon.
Knocks on the door. No answer.
Checks the mailbox for the key. It's not there.
Sits on the stoop, waiting, worried, for Bob to return.

It would have been a little odd for her to remove the mail from the mailbox when she saw the key wasn't there, knowing she'd have to sit on the stoop with a pile of mail in her hand.

If Bob brought it in himself....then we know he was around at 10.30ish, but that he didn't get time to open it. That narrows the timeline down. LE report states it was unopened.

And postal workers can also be very observant about any changes or anything unusual going on around the homes they deliver to - they get to know them well, after all.

So am I right we may have found two sets of potential witnesses? The roadworkers and the postalworker? I hope LE have interviewed them.

Do I understand correctly that Oriah spoke with someone at the USPS who stated the mail usually arrived about 10:30 am at the time Bob disappeared?

Either way, do we know what happened to the mail delivered on 07/27/2009?
Did LE process it and ask anyone for exclusionary prints?

I ask because it may have been someone other than Bob who brought in the mail, depending on whose prints appear on the mail. (technically regardless of what time the mail arrived).

Any morning deliveries would provide a witness as to what cars where in the drive, or not, way prior CL's arrival.

"There's your first clue," Stewart said. "When you're feel you're about to spring what you, Governor Romney, think is the checkmate moment of the debate, and your debate opponent says to you, 'Please, proceed,' 'Hold on, are you trying to open that door? Let me open it wider. The door you appear to want to walk through.

Does anyone remember this from the presidential debates? This was some Jon Stewart commentary, but for some reason it resonated with me when I think about Bob's case and all of the internet postings and those early interviews.

Sorry-moving forward on the mail. I dont know what info is available about it-who took it in, who opened it and what might have happened to it after Bob disappeared.

I'll jump in here. She posted it on Sept. 30, 2010.

O.M.G. Really? There were no large items in the garbage? What, is that some kind of code?

This is what she remembers two months later. That there were no large items in the garbage that day. I mean, clearly she is referring to a body.

Baffling.

Gently, one year and two months later. More than a year later she remembers what was or was not in the trash, but can't get the timeline straight.

Yep, baffling.

 Thanks, yes I meant 14 months later...typing too quickly.

We need a clean up smiley...you know, one with a broom.

Ya, but with us baseball fans you know a broom might mean a different kind of sweep for PPD. ;)

Two months or fourteen months, sadly it still makes no sense what is remembered and what seems to have escaped the mind. Poor Bob.
