So weird. I was reading the OC Reg, and there's a pic of my dog's old favorite beach and promenading street! I never expected to see an article about somewhere I lived in an Orange County, CA, local publication.

It's such a small world really. I bet Bob and Fontelle would have enjoyed a visit there, if they'd had the chance. They'd have fit so well, and the French would have just adored their story.

I agree mostly with the article, but they missed out the famous cherry festival just up the highway at the end of May. That's not to be missed, even if you don't like cherries. And by visiting then, a person gets there before all the Parisians arrive in August, and the locals start to get a little short-tempered. :)

Hiya
poor Bob...going on close to 5 years, how do any of'em sleep at night?
Well ...I don't really care if they do or not actually...one or two or ....more of them know the real score or parts of it at any rate. And the silence speaks volumes imho. Sickening.

Zwiebel you deserve a medal for sticking with this...I'm afraid I fell by the wayside. Life/work
But I happened to be on google earth tonight, and wound up slipping right back to Placentia....he's around there... you know......and someone knows where.
I have not forgotten Mr. Harrod, no not at all.

I don't like jewelry of any kind, so I'll pass on the medal.

But if anyone's around, especially in the Stockton area.......please look out for Christian Thomas McQueen, homicide suspect. Driving a 1999 GMC Sierra, CA plate 8H65628.

The 18 year old girl in the vehicle he's said to have deliberately driven into will survive, but the driver didn't. :(

There are French people commenting on that OC Reg travel article now. I wish they could get to hear about Bob's case - I'd love the French to take up his cause, or even make a film. There aren't any recent articles for them to see though. :(

Oh. It's only just occurred to me - if you want to welcome the world in the search for a missing person, you need to tell their story in the languages of the world, don't you?

I know it seems crazy, but there are many people in OC who have no idea Bob Harrod is still missing. So if they are made aware by news coming back from France or elsewhere, it wouldn't matter, would it? Just so long as they are made aware.

I can't help but wonder if that fall out occurs when Bob is declared deceased and certain persons aren't happy about the distribution of his assets.

Nothing would surprise me.......

BBM - if there are any left to 'distribute. jmo

Somebody is dropping envelopes of cash all over SoCal, tweeting clues, and is causing chaos....and a bit of happiness for the people who find the envelopes stuffed with money.

It's like geocaching writ large and obvious! He's in LA right now, but is causing the fashion to catch on from DC to Dallas too;

Now how can we get the search for Bob to take off like that?

Human remains have been found in Sky Forest, Lake Arrowhead, San Bernardino. BUT it is almost certainly not Bob. The remains were located very close to a rehab center where a man has been missing for 8 months.

It will take some time to ID whoever it is though, so thought I should flag it here.

ETA: The missing man is Donovan Doyle, age 21. :(

Bumping my own post because another article explains that a 16 year-old young man went out to help to search for those remains and helped find them, with others.

Nobody he knew, but he wants to be a doctor and just wanted to help. What a wonderful thing to do for a missing person, from one so young.

ETA: Search led by Rita and Randy Beasley. He's a former crime scene investigator.

I don't post often but have followed Bob's case since the beginning, His case is hidden so deep now that I had to do a search to even find him, and according to FB today is his birthday!! I find this very sad...

Bob's Disappeared episode is playing right now on Discovery ID. Breaks my heart watching this again. Is there any information on how Fontelle is doing? TIA

Thank you! Mr Z's been shouting in my ear all night that something was happening on Bob's website, and I told him to quiet down, nothing was happening.

I should say sorry, but he's gone to bed in a huff......:)

But I am sorry for misunderstanding any attempts to help Bob, and I am thinking of Bob on his birthday.

Please let him come home soon.

If anyone is just landing on this thread - you are very welcome. Bob Harrod is still missing, still needs to be found and any input is most welcome.
