Bryce has a permanent mouth piece from what I can remember, correct? This should make it easier to determine if the remains belong to him. Assuming all was intact.
I will look for it. I was really hoping he would be found. Poor Bryce. 😓Whiteorchids, I can't find where you mentioned the note from the roommate. Not sure why this is not ringing a bell for me. You and I were both on here religiously from day 1...I know that. I just can't recall the letter for some reason. I know they I interviewed him, but I thought he was keeping tight lipped about something Bryce had told him, and sworn to secretly, right? 🤔
BBM. We don't know if it was his intention to purposely drive over that drop-off.
I can't see someone who's been in a major car wreck would think to go for a swim. Also that water would be very cold that time of the morning.
"Bryce travels along the side of the cell tower, towards the lake, continues down the hill, based on the tracks left behind he is hitting the excelerator as he was going down the hill, he was blazing his own trail as he was going down . Based on the speed of the car he was actually unearthing large rocks, the undercarriage was hitting large rocks and this indicates that there was some speed involved not a car in neutral. According to the detective, All of Bryces actions were deliberate."
Thank you. It was the diamond earring. I couldn't remember for the life of me.He gave away the diamond earring his mother gave him to his roommate and the last text he sent was to his roommate (sounded like a "goodbye" text to me MOO.) There wasn't any written note that I remember. It is my opinion that his roommate and his girlfriend hold the clues as to whether or not his actions leaving up to his disappearance were indicative of someone contemplating suicide.
BBM While we do not know 100% his intention as no one has been able to ask him LE stated in the ID episode that they are confident he intentionally drove down and off the embankment. This is my transcription of what was stated in the episode regarding him driving down the embankment:
Thanks, I have yet t see the episode. While I'm a full supporter of LE, because of some other cases I've followed, I'm reluctant to be convinced of all their assumptions or conclusions. They can be wrong. If there was evidence of acceleration before the drop off, I'd like to see it. Maybe he was at a dead stop when he did so. Or maybe he stepped on the gas by mistake trying to avoid going over. Also a car would pick up speed as well going down an embankment.
"based on the tracks left behind he is hitting the excelerator as he was going down the hill" Maybe I'm not understanding what you are saying? There was a hill and then an embankment. While I agree that LE doesn't always get it right evidence from a car crash (especially when the car is abandoned where it crashed) can tell how fast someone was traveling and whether or not they were accelerating or not before they crashed. He deliberately drove his car into the area of the hill (off the road), accelerated down the hill (fast enough to leave tracks and unearth large rocks), and then crashed over the side of the embankment. He didn't stop before crashing over the embankment (did he know there was an embankment at the bottom of the hill? No one knows for sure. Or did he think maybe there wasn't and his car would go straight into the lake? More than likely, from what I have been told about that specific area.)
I agree that no one in their right mind would think to go for a swim after getting into an accident (the extent of his injuries are another mystery....some say very minor while others think he may have had head trauma.....) but Bryce wasn't acting in his right mind in the days, hours and minutes leading up to the crash so it is hard to determine what he would do in the odd state of mind he appeared to be in. MOO

A human skull and teeth found 10 weeks ago in a hilly rugged stretch of terrain near Templin Highway are not those of Bryce Laspisa who vanished four years ago.
When investigators revealed in May that they hoped dental work would lead them to the identity of victim, they received calls from the families of missing people, Ed Winter, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, said Wednesday.
