Details: At Risk Missing Person
On 05/02/2020 at about 7:30 p.m., PSPD responded to the 300 Block of E. Via Escuela Rd. regarding a report of a missing person. The missing person is identified as 65 year old Carl Brines. Brines left his residence that afternoon between 2pm and 5pm. Brines’ direction of travel or desired destination are currently unknown and it is believed he left on foot from the 300 Block of E. Via Escuela Rd. Officers conducted a search of the areas surrounding Brines’ residence but were unable to locate him. Brines was last seen wearing grey gym shorts and an unknown color v-neck t shirt. Brines left his wallet, cell phone and other personal belongings at the residence. Brines is a white male adult and approximately 270 pounds. Brines has white hair and a closely shaved white beard. Brines has a scorpion tattoo on his left chest, a dragon tattoo on his right bicep and a rainbow tattoo on his back. Brines is believed to be at risk due to making suicidal comments in the past. The Palm Springs Police Department is asking for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brines to call the Palm Springs Police Department at 760-327-1441.
