Missing McCloud man found deceased in Mt. Shasta Forest
The man found deceased on Sunday in the Mt. Shasta Forest Subdivision east of McCloud has been positively identified as Dennis Delmar Jewett of McCloud, according to Siskiyou County Sheriff Jon Lopey.
The Sheriff’s Office stated in a news release that his “home was unsecured and indicators at the scene made the possibility of a criminal assault, burglary, or theft at the home unlikely. Several containers filled with processed marijuana were located in the home, but there is no indication of a link between the drugs recovered and Mr. Jewett’s disappearance.”

RIP bud. Hadn’t seen you in years and years but living where you were, you were living the life you aimed for. I’ll think of you the next time a trouts rises to my dry fly.
