Seems she feels that one of her daughters may have harmed Duke, but not on purpose. Whatever happened was accidental. Maybe she should quit reading comments on social media, that would eliminate some of her frustration. My heart goes out to Duke's family, can't imagine their pain right now.

You don’t “accidentally” kill a child while beating the living daylights out of him  There’s nothing accidental about that scenario.

If a 6 yr old dies accidentally, do you then throw him in a dumpster and pretend everything is ok?

Absolutely not. The complaint against them explains it all imo.

With malice and aforethought.

That is why this precious child was murdered, and thrown in a dumpster like garbage. They meant to murder this child, and did.

It makes me livid when I see anyone try to blame the victim for why they were killed.

I admit when I read the excuse for Duke's murder given by the mother of these two killers it literally made my heart hurt more for Duke, if possible.

It's so unfair to this tiny murdered, and voiceless victim to be blamed for trying to smother an infant without one piece of evidence to show that it even happened.

Especially when they know little Duke can't be here to defend himself or being able to tell the investigators what really happened, exposing the truth as to the real reason he was murdered, and thrown away.

Imo, this was not about Duke trying to smother anyone, and frankly I don't like the excuses for there is simply no excuse for murdering an innocent 6 year little boy.

I dont like the excuse either of 'they just lost it' as if that somehow makes it excusable. Gah.

Jmo though

From link. The “she” is Grandma.

She and her friends have also made threats of “accidents” to anyone who talks negatively about her family on social media. On a recent Facebook post, Gutierrez said that one particular commenter would, “feel my wrath” and added that “this is not a threat this is a promise”.

I know his soul has returned to God. Thank you all for doing this. Still keeping hope he’s alive somewhere and still keeping the light on for Duke in Hesperia,” stated Victor Valley News Group member Debora Coffey.

I can understand a 6 year old maybe biting a child or slapping a child. I do not buy that a 6 yr old would take a pillow and try to smother a child. Not buying that.

Even if he did it, he needed help, not being murdered and put in a dumpster like garbage

Children Learn What They Live. However unconscionable it may seem to us, little Duke may have witnessed this done to another child or had it done to him. And, whether or not he repeated what he learned, I certainly agree with you that he did not deserve to be murdered. MOO
