Tulessa - there is nothing more frightening, is there, than that phone call? It sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it... What a complete sadist this man is. He wanted to terrify his victims, and make them revisit the emotions of their ordeal with every phone call.

Reading about this case always reminds me of the words of Winston Churchill when he said that if a genie were to offer him three wishes, one of them would be to know the identity of Jack the Ripper. This man brings out the same response in me - I desperately want to see him caught. He is probably still alive, we have DNA - it is possible! And his victims deserve justice at last.

Thank you very much for posting the clip. Every time we bring the details of his crimes back out into the public eye, we increase the chance that somebody is going to hear it or see it and contact the police with their vital bit of evidence.

The police do have a DNA profile. With enough hard detective work, it will be solved. It is tedious work, though. Decades have gone by. One thing I just thought of. We have many sketches of him. With technology as advanced as it is, they should do a photo age progression!!! Then go onto main stream news shows like Today, and show it. Ask the public for help.

That is a fantastic idea! :smile: You could write to people like Adam Walsh, M William Phelps and the makers of crime shows and suggest it. What a great thing to think of!

It may be difficult, as some of the sketches out there are "artists" concept of what he may look like. Then as time went on the public thought they were real sketches of the suspect, which they weren't.

Colette, it has more to do with Chaim Weiss than you think. Have you read the book about GSK written by Det. Shelby? If you have you'll know about the food moved outside and it's relevence. If you have studied GSK you'll also know about the connection between his behaviour at crimescenes and Jewish rituals.
Serial killers do change their MO's and even more so when they are smart and well above average intelligence. I expect some people to understand but not everybody, it is a very complicated case.

Yes, and he was ruled out. These murders were carried out by one guy. IMO he started as the ransacker and developed into the East side rapist, then into the Original Night Stalker. He was a sexual sadist, this has nothing to do with Judaism. You are reaching and trying to make things fit your theory IMO.

DP thank you for your reply. Yes it is indeed odd that focus seems to be on the younger descriptions rather than the older, you would think both would have been given the same amount of attention.

I'm just going to quote part of what you said in your reply -

Yes, it's that small but relevant set of details that has me puzzled too. It's highly likely there could have been a copy cat, such suggestions have reached my ears but it's the accomplice I keep coming back to. LE might think that they have DNA for GSK but if there are two offenders working in unison then we are one set of DNA short which could cause confusion should one be caught and tested and although he was there at the scene, he would not match.
Unfortunately for me Crompton's book Sudden Terror is no longer available on Scribed or I'd be able to back track and look at a few more attacks to read up on what the victims said about their attacker. Iirc one victim thought after being raped that another person of different weight and penis size went on to rape her too. That attack might be the belt buckle rape, I'm not sure. Then there's the lesser known attack where GSK answered the door halfway through an attack and spoke to somebody, iirc the victim thought it might have been a woman who appeared to tell him to hurry up.
There's certainly more details to consider and it would be foolish to assume there's just one person involved, so far there's reason to think there's at least two men and woman operating with GSK and a possible copy cat or two.
