CA CA - Ember Graham, 7 mos, Happy Valley, 2 Jul 2015 - #3

So sad! Still hoping he left a note or something in his backpack.
I hope so too. But I wonder if he thought that far ahead, or thought he would be caught. So many unanswered questions.

What a horrible injustice this person did to the families! He took the secret burial of his daughter to the grave with him! The child's own father did this, not a relative or a stranger. The old saying "burn in he77" applies to MG!

It infuriates me that people walk on this earth with such demonic personalities. What is our world coming too?

Hello to whichever mod reads this. I just see there is a certain criteria that qualifies MSM to be labeled as such. If a public newspaper is not MSM, how do I recognize that, and what terminology should be used instead? I am happy to go read for myself, if you generously provide the link.

Thank you for your patience with my learning curve.

It's a blog. The phrase "team of local activists" is key.

Dear Mods, I have a link to a video taken by a non-news person OF the KRCR News Channel 7 6:30pm news. The person recorded their television set with their phone then posted the link to it on their facebook page.

Is that allowed to be linked? It's the only video of this news report that I've been able to locate. Thanks!

Hi everyone. I've lurked forever, but this is my first time posting. :]

...couple driving across the Clear Creek bridge at 3:00 a.m. on their way to do laundry on the night baby Ember disappeared. The people in the auto claim that as they drove by they saw a young couple (man and woman) bundling something while standing on the walkway in about the middle of the bridge. Further, the tipster claims the female looked him square in the eye so he believes he recognized her as the woman on the 'flyer.' The reporter also claims that the tipster described the couple's clothing.

I'm questioning the validity of this tip... How can a person make eye contact with someone in a moving car in the middle of the night? Factor in the use of headlights, the pedestrian would avert or shield her eyes. He may have seen her face and is able to describe the clothing. I'm not seeing how eye contact is possible unless the driver was directly next to her and driving slowly. I didn't watch the entire video yet, but is there footage of the bridge? How close could a car drive next to the walkway?

I think eye contact could be possible depending on the lighting, the bridge and walkway are separated by only a metal rail. Maybe not from head on because of the headlights like you mentioned, but as the vehicle passed, kwim?

I hope this incident was false or at least not connected to the case. I really don't want anyone else implicated.

Welcome!

No, I'm afraid not. Any chance it's been uploaded to YouTube?

A person outside looking at a vehicle going by might appear to be looking at the inside of the car, but they probably can't see IN the car never mind someone's eyes. It would just seem that way.

Now that it's been exposed as an activist blog, I sincerely doubt its validity too. There are just way too many coincidences and the timeline doesn't make sense. LE hasn't said peep about it, which is a huge flag. Also, IF they were there doing what is being insinuated, they would hide not show their faces.... I think.

Here's a google maps shot of the supposed location. The wooden walkway is right off the road.

Here is a youtube video of the 2nd LE press conference:

It's linked by KRCR TV. Is it ok to post here?

I really don't understand what kind of TV station KRCR is... with no video on their web site?

ETA: I see now that the video shows up on screen here that it's a Redding Record Searchlight video.

I just received an alert on the Redding Record Searchlight App that MG was the suspect in this morning's shooting in Dunsmuir

http://www.redding.com/news/graham-seen-in-shasta-lake-in-second-day-of-manhunt_83578281

But when I click on the link it doesn't reflect that

FWIW, there are multiple embedded videos viewable on the app. I was able to access them via the slideshow in chronological order.

I'm trying to pull the alert back up on my phone now - So y'all know I'm not seeing things!

Sorry....I don't have links at my fingertips. Directing to the place where I know the info can be found is the best I can do.

I agree...

sometimes when I am behind..

I google the main words of the question with the person(s) they correlate to... And the MSM link pops up...

In fact... Since I am not very computer savvy.. I would have to do that again to bring up the information... Since I don't know an efficient way of keeping all links regarding a case...

Just my :twocents: worth...

I haven't followed everything in this case, but I did watch the video. I find it hard to believe. Stop and think about this for a minute! If you are about to throw your baby off of a bridge at 3 in the morning and you hear a car coming, are you going to turn and look that person in the eye????? Or are you going to lay down on the ground and try to hide yourself???? A person could very easily crouch down behind the guardrail between the pavement and the walkway. Makes for a good story, but I'm very suspicious.

The 6:30pm broadcast is available as a replay, GGE :)

I'm pretty sure #BabyEmber and the shooting of mg is too news. So, watching the Live Stream will likely allow us to gather up to the minute info we might not find on their site or on their SM feeds (JMO)

HTH!

I'm suspicious as well, I'm not sure it fits. However, you may just be stunned and stand there like a deer in headlights. I mean, we're talking about a man who used his own ID while running from LE.

I love your siggy nannymo.

I am trying to catch up, too. Questions:
1. What is this about 'videographer', and somebody saw 2 people with 'the baby'??? Link to video please.

2. What is this about cousin (the one in trailer next door that had running h20 ?) & 'a BF' saying they SAW Matthew & Ember in the night, after Happy Mart run + 1 hr. 'cooling off the baby' in the truck?

3. GGE: The only solution to you going out somewhere and missing things here is this: Never leave your home again.:seeya:

4. And a comment about the sheriff saying the court 'made a bad decision': I believe it is probably law of Calif., as other states, that the judge was NOT permitted to make any part of a decision based in Matthew being a 'person of interest' - remember 'guilty 'til proven innocent' and all of that? <modsnip>

1. It's in the previous thread. I hope this link will work: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...-Valley-2-July-2015-2&p=11923852#post11923852

2. I see PLT and maybe others have linked this. I think the person who saw them was either the cousin or cousin's girlfriend? She said it was after the Happy Stop visit but "before the sun went down." Considering the truck doesn't have air conditioning, IMO they weren't out driving around to cool off. The cousin said they stopped to get water.

3. Truth! I left for a couple of hours to run errands and do laundry and I'm way behind again.

4. I agree. It's easy to want to be angry at the judge but I really think her hands were probably tied. An ankle bracelet monitoring movement is a form of confinement and it sounds like they didn't have anything to hold him on. As much as it sucks, especially now that we know what happened, her job is to enforce and perhaps sometimes interpret the law, not just make it up on her own.

Just curious as to why IDing him is taking so long? I'm guessing he may be unrecognizable due to injury? He probably still has the ID he used at the gas station to buy cigarettes on him (I know that can't be used as a positive ID) - but would be another indicator.

http://www.redding.com/news/graham-seen-in-shasta-lake-in-second-day-of-manhunt_83578281

I'm guessing they knew who it was right away but had to go through certain steps such as telling the family before they could confirm his ID publicly.
