REDDING, California - UPDATE on Saturday, 4:30 p.m.

An officer-safety bulletin says Matthew Graham, after learning of new information in the case of his missing baby, Ember, stole a .40-caliber firearm and cash at 1:15 p.m. today from Court and Tehama streets in Redding and fled.

The bulletin tells officers that Graham is considered armed and dangerous and to approach him with caution.

Yes. And no matter anyone's attitude about it, it was illegal for him to use and unhealthy and unsafe for a baby with other medical issues to be around.

Just because he admitted to smoking wax doesn't mean he wasn't also doing other things. We don't know what combination of Rx pills, alcohol, and other illegal street drugs he may have used.

I have always thought that this was no "accident". The latest development indicates even more so that this was likely a calculated murder.

MG stole Cash and Gun and is missing.....people on SM saying they found Ember and he ran. Not sure if that is rumor or not. So much for not needing that ankle monitor. Bad call judge.

Oh and he's so fragile according to hid mommy....fragile people don't steal and run IMO

That was the first thing my husband mentioned - the ankle monitor. Ugh

This is unreal. I pray he comes to his senses and tells the truth.
Wondering if he had any help in the steal and run situation.
Seems like they would have been following him? Wonder why he wasn't followed.
If they gave him the new information why was he allowed to run. I pray they have a good lead on him.
This is bad really bad. I fear a shoot out with police.
His dad had pictures of LOTS of guns....all kinds, on SM.
Wondering where Wayne lives.

This downtown area of Redding are one way streets. I live here, but can't place where he would have done this.

Isn't his mom or stepmom an ex officer?? so someone could have leaked info and in small town in baby found then rumors would be fast. He knew where he put her and he knew where they were searching. As I understand it his family has police connections.

Must have been from a residence right? Maybe an associate he knew would have a gun and cash. Certainly near the courthouse wouldn't have been my first choice to B&E but maybe he knew someone in the area

Ha! KRCR just ran an "update" on the search for Ember - apparently they still don't know about MG running! Nothing about it at all.
