While this woman is #1 on my POI list, and I do believe there is involvement in the crime itself or it's concealment, I will concede that her rather inappropriate court demeanor could be a result of being somewhat tranquilized. I would think she's been given, or is taking some sort of sedative. Most likely....:moo:

Well, sleeping with one eye open for over a month can do that to you as well, so we'll see. I wouldn't want to hang around a vicious murderer that long either.

Probably still on his way? Would they fly him or drive him?

That is a good question! I have seen real crime shows where the detectives chose to drive the long distance in order to get the criminal comfortable with them and talking.

And also give prisoner time to make a "break" or to have friends "hijack" the car and "break" him out

(too much TV/crime movies, lol)

Coming from Alaska, surely they would fly.

I would've thought so, but he did drive up there when he moved so I wondered if they might drive him back too. Then again they're just bringing him, not a U-Haul full of stuff, so flying would make way more sense.

shouldn't CL be back in CA?

I was just wondering that- they should have flown him, rather than driving I would think... It's only a couple of hours flight to Seattle.:waitasec:

There's a news article out there that says commercial air. I don 't remember which website had it though.

But, would Canada allow CL into their country given that he is charged with murder here? I wouldn't want to let him into my country if it was up to me! What if he managed to escape?

That Uhaul, and the stuff; Is it surprising to anyone else that they didn't execute a final search warrant in Alaska? I'd have thought they would do that if they were really serious about getting both Lee's involvement down pat. 'Cause they would have taken everything with them, even what one might keep at a storage locker, when they moved north.

Sheriff’s officials tasked with returning Lee to San Bernardino County are not releasing his itinerary, but said he will more than likely be transported on a commercial aircraft.

“When we have to go bring someone back we utilize the means necessary to get the job done safely for everyone involved,” sheriff’s Cpl. Randy Naquin said. “If the person has been convicted of the crime and is being transferred back to our county from another state we’ll put them on the Federal “ConAir,” but in this situation he hasn’t been convicted so we’ll escort him back on a civilian airplane.”

I just thought about this too after I looked up the driving time from Anchorage AK to San Bernardino CA - FWIW roughly 65 hours (with no traffic and no stops) and 3,500ish miles, as opposed to a roughly 7 hour flight - all based on Google maps. Flying they could go right over Canada whereas driving they'd have to go through another country (Canada) to get back to the US. So it makes the most sense IMO that they'd be flying, and I bet he'll be in the system as a California inmate soon.

Thanks for the heads up on this. A couple of us from the SBSD Cave Rescue Team will be driving out tomorrow to attend this. We normally don't get to see what happens after we do a search, rescue or recovery. So this will be a nice opportunity for us.

God bless you HERO!

I wonder if they did and it just didn't get released or leaked. It sounded like they've had a pretty close eye on him in AK but I couldn't tell if they ever further searched any of the stuff they moved. I hope so!

So any predictions on whether Nichole will show up back down in CA and, if so, where she will be staying?

Forgive me if this has been addressed, because I have not caught up with reading the thread yet.

This is dumb, but I read all of her Pinterest posts; I can understand why IM may have felt protective of her given her clear love of CL and all her sad posts about forgiveness, etc. I want to believe she couldn't have done anything. But I also can't get over the fact that she has posted very few since EC disappeared, and of the few, one (in the week after the disappearance as far as I can tell) simply says "namaste, b@$#hes."

"Namaste, *****es" is the new tagline of Dina on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, which started its new season in the beginning of July. The only thing that says to me is that Nichole watched Real Housewives of New Jersey.

I am starting to view NL as a sympathetic figure and a victim. She is young, also, and CL has treated her terribly. Not as terribly as he treated EC, but terribly nonetheless.

He had an affair for one thing. I consider that terrible. I dont care if he was rubbing her feet and buying her flowers, cheating is the ultimate disloyalty.
