One other note. I am not sure it matters at all, but is there any value in finding out which school LR was going to in order to get his medical assistant credential? I'm thinking it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. If anyone can think of a reason this might matter or shed insight, I'm willing to give it a go.

Maybe in doing so, we can find out if they actually called him "Mr. Ross" ? I guess that's a bit of a stretch--you'd have to actually contact his classmates or professors.

It might be useful to determine how long he's been (or was) in the program?

Maybe it isn't worth the effort. I'm not sure.

I don't think it matters to the finding of Hasanni. But, it's up to you ultimately. As for me, I like to know every single insignificant fact that I can find on a suspect. But, as you said it really isn't important.

It may be interesting but I don't think it's going to shed any light on where Hasanni is. :) MOO

I guess I was thinking that somewhere in this, is some shred of information that will show us where he would think of putting Hasanni, what he might have done to him... I suppose that some of this is just details that won't help at all.

Yeah I think it could be helpful just to have in our canon of facts. Also, it may give us insight on travel time of his "anticipated" schedule that day (for instance, could he have made it from Palo Alto's Stanford volunteer orientation to his class on time, anyhow). Perhaps also we would learn what credentials it takes to get into the school and how long the track runs (2 years, 2 months, etc.), which may give us insight into how much of a "routine" this really was. But you're right, it's probably not going to help us figure out where Hasanni is.

I'll see if I come across anything really significant. I'm surprised the news organizations have not mentioned LR's school name, but then I saw in one interview where they asked him about his new job, and he shrugged it off as "not important" and said he didn't want to get into it.

The only interest for the case I can see is in travel time or in knowing which neighbourhoods he is most familiar with. The majority of the interest would be curiosity's sake. It's up to you whether it's worth your time.

Thanks, by the way, for all the details you have brought us thus far. Cheers!

It sounds like something coming from someone who is more than a classmate, or else he's just being charming while there. MOO

Oh I'm sure 'forever charming', easy going, articulate, I'll take care of ya, confident, honest, I know where I'm going type of sociopath/psychopath personality. They can convince you that Planet Earth is all about them. Much like a low-profile con-artist only with the murdering instinct. Think of Drew and Scott Peterson, Casey Anthony.

The only thing though is Hasanni was gone before LR would've been headed to school, so I still think he's somewhere between Fremont & Oakland. I know, it's like a wild goose chase! :(

With two cars, why isn't Jennifer driving? She did drive at one time because she got a citation in Monterey. Anyone?

The mods took 2 of my posts off at the mention of contacting classmates in Maryland. Embarrassing.

The only things I can think of is either her license is suspended or the car doesn't run. In her condition I'd think driving would've been much more comfortable commuting to and from work than taking the public transportation. MOO

thanks panthera: I found a license suspension for a person with her name and can't be sure it's her. No middle initial.

And ross said they have had this routine for several months, supposedly since he started school.

Judging from the way LWR says "Jennifer dooesn't drive" in one of the raw interviews, I'd guess that her lack of driving didn't have anything to do with an inoperable car.

What do you mean Shutterfly?

Well I won't put too much into his statement since the store owner didn't seem to know of the "routine". :) MOO

He said "Jennifer doesn't drive." He didn't say that the other car doesn't run or anything such as that, in an effort to explain why not. Just the way he says it, it seems directed at Jennifer, not at the lack of a running vehicle. Theoretically, she COULD drive the BMW, if she could drive, and he could take BART.

And we all know he thinks that BART is a way for a 5yo to get to his mommy. :behindbar

Hi Paulette! Did Ross go to school in Maryland? TIA

Hi eyes! I just found the word doc. where I saved all the e-mail addresses of the alumni. The only problem is I didn't take down the name of the school.

We discussed this on Aug. 18-19th. I believe it was a magnet school.

I'll have a look-see.

Yeah, and by himself no less. I still just can't even get my head around the fact that LWR said that to Jennifer, about leaving Hasanni on the BART platform. No human being with an ounce of compassion for ANY child would even suggest such a thing. I don't care how p*ssed off you are.
