The dark image IMHO MOST LIKELY is a 'chiropractors logo'...spine with the pelvis at the bottom...this is the black image....in that you see the 2 letters 'DS'

With Hasanni going to physical therapy for CP...this seems VERY likely...

Wow, mm, that's amazing! I didn't even see there was any logo on the hat and had to look very hard at a zoomed-in version.... even then, I'll have to take your word for it! You must be really eagle-eyed! :chicken: (ok, not an eagle...)

LOL...eagle eyes, maybe...many times, tho, I feel like a DO-DO Bird..:floorlaugh:

hmm...I'd Thought about the word ADIDAS, but I thought the letters on the hat off Hasanni's page was 'DS', but I have been wrong before. Good catch on the hat from the news...Somehow I missed seeing that:waitasec:

Well you're not in that boat alone. I didn't even notice the logo until it was just addressed within the last page of the thread. Before I looked at the link to the beach pic that FF put up, I was sitting here thinking "logo, what logo?" I looked at that hat on his head when he got out of jail, and I never even noticed it. Either he must really like that hat or he must have a drawer full of them. How many men do you suppose can keep a white hat that clean? It looks like he just took the tag off of it..in both pictures posted above?!?

Popping in to apologize for not getting back to you all yesterday! :blowkiss:

I'm still soooooo worried about our little guy & why he hasn't been found yet. I was so hoping that he would be found by now!

I wanted to let you all know that I started tomorrow's curent thread early, due to an eyelid infection in both of my eyes. While at my grandson's house I rubbed my eyes cause they were blurry & irritated not realizing they were swollen. :banghead:
Waited till this morning & headed to the ER (since I've had 5 eyelid surgeries over the last 28yrs from thyroid eye disease) since my lids were more swollen & in pain. I have a bacterial infection called Blephritis!

Sorry off topic.....I wanted to explain why I started the current thread early, & there is one new article which I have posted in it already!

Going to go back & read to catch back up with you all......you've all been very busy I see....sorta see :sleuth: ! Going to read as much as my eyes can handle & will have to stop.

I really am :prayer:ing that :sponge: helps lead someone to our little guy!
:sponge: needs to get him to whisper a bit louder so he can be found.

I thank all of you who haven't forgotten about our little guy & hope that you all have had a wonderful holiday weekend with your family. :blowkiss:
I spent mine in bed today though I had a blast with my grandson yesterday even with my lovely swollen eyes. :floorlaugh:

:praying: For Hasanni!

Feel Better Soon, Angel!!!! }}}}}}

I'm sure your grandson did not mind your "puffy-eyedness" (is that a word) :) .

Hasanni was not far from my mind yesterday..... I re-tweeted another alert for info for him - and - while at Walmart (I'm determined to locate that very same box that was on the video) (was unsuccessful - it was just too busy yesterday) - happened to see the sweetest pair of little Sponge-Bob pajama pants - and my very first thought was "Hasanni would *love these....". Then my heart hurt again!

(snipped)
Police also searched the 2002 BMW that Ross was driving the day Hasanni disappeared, taking swabs, the rear seat of the vehicle, carpet from the car, two car seats, molding and latches, according to a receipt of property from the FBI. An Alameda County Superior Court document also shows that four fingerprint lifts, eight DNA swabs and one pair of latex gloves were taken from the car.
(color added by me)

I don't remember hearing about the back seat and carpet/molding/latches being taken from the car!?!?:waitasec: For LE to take the carpet there HAD to be something there...

I know I thought the SAME thing about the 'whiteness' of the hat...I wear something white ONCE, then it's white no longer...

Here's a really stupid question. If LR was 'routinely' at Shuz an hour later (5 pm), it would be safe to assume that he knew the area's happenings more toward 5 pm than the 4:10 or so that he arrived, correct? (Yes, assuming there was a routine at all.)

There are no camera's in the parking alcove, he probably knew this, granted. But my stupid question is this.... How did he know that A) the parking spaces wouldn't all be full? B) that no one would be hanging around in the parking lot or getting in or out of cars? C) that no one from the windows would see, hear or pay attention? D) that there would be no one walking down the street in front of the parking lot at the exact moment he pulled in to witness whether or not the children were in the car?

Did he scope it out first and wait until he was reasonably sure no one was looking/approaching?

ETA: remember the first raw interview? LR says "I ULTIMATELY pulled into the parking lot behind the shoe store." Ultimately.....as if he did something else first....like drove around the block and/or waited across the street?

Yeah, that seemed OFF to me too when I heard it...makes it sound like he's had a BUSY day

Good eye for detail, but I am thinking it's another case of LR trying to sound swank. "Ultimately" being more impressive than finally.

That doesn't mean he didn't also have a busy day, though.

(Snipped for space) In all honesty, I think it simply means there were no parking spaces out front-maybe he went around the block a couple times to check and then decided to just pull in out back.

Thanks much for the the Cammy link FF---it kind of puts a different light on this family for once. I did notice her saying that JC & LR had known each other for a couple years--whether that's accurate or not, I don't know.

I'm not sure if this has been covered, but KGO (radio) had an older piece where they interviewed Cami Blackstone, the former Bay Area radio personality merimer mentioned being a "Big Sister" to JC. (Was she also the children's godmother, or was that someone else?)

At any rate, all the KGO Hasanni stories (including the full-length call-in show of this one) are worth listening to but long.

Here's a clipped version of the Cami interview:
http://www.box.net/shared/ul0qng52mp

Just click "Play" or right-click to download.

She mentions during this interview (wish I'd heard it before!):
- JC had a full scholarship to Cal
- JC graduated Cal
- JC was the glue that held her family together and she was the responsible one

[bolded by me]

Thanks FF for all you bring to this thread!

Stands to reason Jennifer continues to play the role of 'glue' and 'responsible one' within her most recent family. She's no match for a psychopath like Ross...he will win every time and she will lose.

NOt stupid at all, Shutterfly! You make some really good points. I agree about the "ultimately"--it sounded as if he tried other parking options first--although we know he does try to sound regal, so who knows? He was taking some big chances if he was going to pull this abduction story off with no witnesses, etc.

Thanks Paula - Coyote Hill seems like a good suggestion, since I don't live in California, I know very little about it. Ross is way too confident leading me to believe he did something with the body so it will never be found. He's arrogant about this missing child. The land fill mentioned up above is open 'till 5:00pm on Friday, Saturday, and Monday (closed Sunday). If Ross was seen at a land dump he could use the large box from WalMart from Friday night as a reason. He has the receipt and was on camera. To justify the land fill trip - necessary due to no home garbage pick-up (how convenient for him). I really don't believe this beautiful child will be found. He's despicablel!!! Just my thoughts and I hope I'm way off base!

The Davis Street facility in San Leandro isn't like the landfills we've seen LE searching for other missing people in (and found them). It's a huge sheltered pit--people pull up to the edge in their vehicles and dump trash in. Workers drive tractors over it all day to compact it down. I've been there, and it's nauseating--not for people with weak stomachs! For some reason it seems as if this would be a much more difficult place to retrieve a body from. Impossible. However, I believe they take license plate numbers when people pay on the way in, so they would have a record of cars and trucks that have been there--I hope LE has checked this out.

The other possibility that stands out in my mind is the area where Hans Reiser dumped Nina. It was in the Oakland hills.

bolded by me.

But in order to pull off this abduction tale, he HAD to park in the more secluded and hidden back parking lot...it wouldn't have worked if he had parked on the street-- too visible, imo.

Maybe he says "ultimately" to make it sound like he was casually looking for a random parking spot ?

That pit sounds awful Columbo. Sounds like the perfect place for Ross to go, although I can't imagine him waiting in line to dump garbage - can you? How long is the wait? Do you have to use a credit card? I looked it up and the dump is about 18 miles from Roxie Terrace, a little far. He is so arrogant and confident, that he makes one think there is no body to worry about.

Maybe that's why he was late or early depending on what you want to believe. Since he didn't have litttle guy Hasanni with him, he can say whatever he wants.

The pit is disgusting! I have trouble imagining LR being there, but if he was driven by adrenalin he probably could have done it. Even the area around the pit where you have to stand is pretty yucky.

Because I haven't been there for at least 10 years, I just called them to find out how it works. You can pay with cash or credit card. You drive your vehicle onto a scale for weighing and they record information like license plate number. I didn't ask how long they keep their records but I'd assume they need them for tax purposes so at least 3 years, I guess. I hope LE has checked this place out! ?

LR seems so confident, it really makes you wonder.

I can see a silver lining about the land fill, though. If someone leaves a body or murder weapons, etc, in such a place, they likely believe it is lost forever, so they are likely not so careful about leaving solid evidence.
