So that document is dated September, 2020.

Although Heidi wasn't involved in any of these transactions, because she was hired in 2017, well after Galanis was arrested in 2016, I can see how, once she learned about it, it would make her pretty nervous about what was going on with all these companies incorporated with her name as agent, and anything else she was being asked to do.

Though I would presume, knowing the SEC was investigating, her boss would be pretty careful not to do anything that could get him into more trouble.
Totally agree. She could have been feeling really stressed and nervous if things were ramping up (again, I’m not really clear on where his case stands, the last doc I could find is a year old, but the judge denied a dismissal so I presume it’s moving forward - whether or not they were working on settling, etc.). I know I would be stressed! The controller job title can be as involved as a boss wants it to be. It could be that she was handed papers to sign without reading, or it could be that she really was very involved in the accounting. In any case, that would stress anyone out.

I agree. I think a government agency would notify you by mail to arrange an in person interview. MOO
They usually just come in like they did to my daughter at Deutsche Bank to discuss some high level financial digressions. No call, in person, face to face. I know another person who was involved with insider trading. After his in person visit he committed suicide. If they've done their homework they know there is an issue, sending a letter would give you a head start if you were going to run. Jmoo

I would like to think if she was involved in or knew about shady activities that were going on, she would know better than to use her home address as the office address on public documents. If you knew about or aided your boss in messing with peoples money, it’s probably best to keep your address as private as possible. Jmo

I live in the Hope and Flower Building in DTLA. I’ve been somewhat following this discussion and wanted to add a few things. One the parking garage needs a remote to get into it and all spaces are assigned. We pay $200 a month for parking and more if you want valet. Guests have to park in a public lot across the street for $20 a night. Two we have to keep a list of approved guests at the concierge’s desk and even then we have to come down to the lobby to escort our guests upstairs. Three nobody can get into the elevator and come upstairs unless they have a resident key fob to swipe for your particular floor. Four, my car got damaged in the garage so I asked for the footage from the surveillance cameras. I was told this request had to go through their legal department and to have my attorney or detective handling my case at LAPD contact their legal department. I spend 5k a month on a one bedroom and this place does everything in their power to make it difficult for everyone involved. If I order food, they don’t allow the delivery drivers to bring it to your door. We have to come down and get it from the concierges desk. Same thing with packages. They are supposed to accept them, log them and keep them at the concierges desk yet I’ve had countless packages go “missing” even after the delivery company has received a signature from a concierge. These were big value items. I don’t know ANYONE that is going to be resigning their lease. I don’t know much about this case but I can assure you she didn’t park in the garage, walk in, get in an elevator and get off at the 28th floor. It’s impossible for someone who doesn’t live here and have the garage opener, an assigned spot and a key fob for the 28th floor.

And the office manager’s ex husband probably isn’t going to have that last piece of the puzzle that investigators need to put the boss in jail lol

What about pets? Would someone notice if someone came in with a new dog?

Since the beginning, the reports of the dog being found wandering around the 28th floor seemed like it could have been misreported. Maybe someone found the dog wandering outside, and brought it inside to their apartment.. on the 28th floor. Idk, that seems to make a lot more sense to me.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I had thought the reports of the real estate company not being cooperative were overblown. The media was making it sound like it was like a sole individual owner. It’s a company with a robust legal department, and it sounds like they (honestly, rightfully) wanted a proper search warrant. Has her car been located? Otherwise I guess I assume she was picked up somewhere by a resident of the building and driven there?

Do you know anyone who lives on the 28th floor, lol? Just joking, don't answer that.

Thanks for joining and giving us a boots on the ground perspective! Welcome to WS :)

What else is around there? Are there any stores, walking trails, cleaners, carry out where she could've stopped on her way home and encountered foul play? MOO

One of her friends says she was in a custody battle

Los Angeles mother's disappearance 'absolutely abnormal'

Are you saying this might be the cause of her disappearance? Imo, the quote in the article was an example of why she wouldn't voluntarily leave.
Moo.

“She would never do this to her boy,” Natalie John said. “She has worked so hard in her custody battle for this little boy. I’m his godmother and I’ve seen this from the beginning to the end.”

The thing that seems odd to me is this, as close as Heidi and her ex seem to be, why didn't he try contacting her to see if she was OK when she hadn't called or texted her son for 3 days? since mom typically called or texted him every day. That didn't raise a concern to the ex? And why assure their son that mom would be there to pick him up? Assuming the ex was concerned and told his son let's call/text mom to make sure everything is OK, he's not concerned that she doesn't respond? That would cause concern to me because she was a responsible person. If she wasn't going to be available for 3 days I think she would've told her ex and her son so they'd know and not worry if she didn't respond. It seems to me that the ex not being concerned that mom hadn't contacted her son is odd since he seems to still be so involved in her life. MOO

We see that in almost every case. The most recent was Gabby Petito.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear.

In my opinion, she has no knowledge.

Firstly, it happened several years before she was hired.

Secondly, she is just the assistant who does some simple paperwork. She has no evidence, she has no role in managing (JS’s) money, she does not attend important meetings or participate in phone calls. The SEC and the FBI isn't interested in the assistant.

Possibly, not understanding this, Heidi became scared that she would somehow be held responsible. Possibly, not understanding this, conspiracy theorists were harassing her about it.

But legally, she was not in trouble, it was not her problem what her boss did with his buddies.

JMO
It looks like the property has been linked to the S’s since at least 2007. The webpage I'm providing shows a link to Heidi's home address. IMO, it's possible she has worked for them in some capacity since then.

MOO is that her RR and house were listed as owned by one of the many companies affiliated with her and JS.
Also, there's no information out there until now with the post above saying the ex commented about a new guy and him being a good person.
I wanted to add that I believe she had 2 phones, a work and a personal that's why she likely didn't go back to the house after leaving the game. She didn't leave with either of those, just her personal cell or work cell whichever it's been determined to have been located in the house. I know the ex stated she had her computer in the trunk of her car but did anyone see it?
Just interesting info and questions I'm pondering.
In my opinion.

It's common today to have a work only phone and laptop so it's possible she had two phones and two laptops.

My impression is the call was in reference to Heidi's disappearance.

Investigators are considering whether Planck’s disappearance is somehow linked to her job as a financial controller at Camden Capital. Her employer is under federal investigation in an alleged $43 million fraud scheme.

why would the SEC be investigating her disappearance? I would think LAPD and/or the FBI would be handling that.

That being the case, there should have been ample security camera footage of whomever took the dog into the building and up to the 28th floor. Given that the building management seem to be providing airtight security, they could be hit with obstruction if they try and stonewall LE.
