MOO, but if you mean “St. Joseph (LB)”, I think the LB means Long Beach, the city where St. Joseph is located. JMO
Ok, Slowpoke, thank you. . I officially resign from the game roster search. Whatever it may be, there were only 2 games at that location on 10/17- one at 1:00 pm and one at 2:00 pm. So Ms Planck would have left roughly sometime between 1:30-2:30? Quarters are 10 minutes, is that right?

If you look under the schedules tab on the CYO website, it also has a column for "SF/V Flag Football - A"
Any idea about what that means? I googled it for ~8 seconds but nothing popped up immediately

I also noticed that the calendar just says XC Invitational for Oct 17th. That sounds like a tournament? I think? MOO
It sounded to me as though HP's son only had one game, so IMO I'd rule that out as the game they went to. I legit know nothing about youth sports though, so please correct me if that doesn't sound right.

Also, idk if this sounds super crazy, but assuming the surveillance video of HP was definitely her leaving for the football game, I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to gauge the time of day from the shadows lol (I feel a little crazy typing that)

Someone unexpectedly showing up makes a lot of sense. It would explain her movement around the stadium, her "antsy" behavior, and her leaving at halftime. I have never thought that when she left her home, with the dog, that she looked like she had any plans for anything more than a drive to see her son play his game. She was not dressed at all as if she was going to any kind of serious meeting with the SEC or anyone else. She just looked like a typical mom out for a day of leisure. I had been focusing on the thought that she got a phone call that was the impetus for her departure, but it may very well have been an unexpected arrival that made her feel uncomfortable. The only thing that makes me think that may not have happened is, if she was scared enough to want her bf visiting her for the weekend, she had her ex, in a public place with other people, seems she would have maybe told him if someone was making her uncomfortable Idk. JMO

I wonder what her phone records show. Maybe she received a call that morning from someone who's like "We need to talk" and she's all "I have to go to my sons game" possibly trying to delay a meeting. This person shows up to the game. Spooks her. She leaves to take the potential trouble away from her family and the people at the game. Because of lack of information who knows who this person was. Boss, coworker, ex, etc. The legal problems with her work come to mind bc it just makes the most sense but we don't really know anything. Different scenarios running through my mind. This is JMO of course.

The teams are organized by geography.
Here’s the link to schedules and game fields by day.
Scroll
Down to 10/17- see the only two games played at the official LAPD last sighting address- PMA is how it’s shown on rhe link- if you click that it opens to the map/corresponding address of last sighting.

Yup! I ran all the schedule gamuts earlier and (even if his school is St Pauls like that other article says), the only games played at the last seen location that would include her kiddo were played by that "Southeast" team at 1:00 and 2:00.
Seems like a lot of outlets are not talking about the time, even though it would be easy to approximate, which feels unusual to me. Anybody got any theories on why that might be?

About the dog-
How is it that the dog was reported as found within 3 hours of Heidi leaving the football game?
JW declared that the texts indicated he was already identified on the 28th floor, 3 hours after she left the game, in Downey.
That was on Sunday afternoon, October 17.
He reported that the people found Heidi’s contact info through the microchip.
So, I guess that on a lovely Sunday afternoon the nicest people ever found a Labradoodle wandering the hall in the sky. Must have called Concierge, right, to report and ask if it was reported missing or registered to the 28th floor? With no response or a negative, did they wait to hear which neighbor was missing a dog?
No. They quickly loaded up and went down to the garage to go to emergency Vet or store for scan, on Sunday afternoon. Nice.
Quick as a bunny, because no one was busy at all, they got the scan and texted Heidi’s work phone? Most Chips allow for several numbers. Funny that oh so close JW was not noted. And most often the Chip company is responsible for contacting owners, they don’t just pass Contact info out to strangers with a story about finding a dog.
Then what when no response to the text? Loaded up on dog food. toys. kennel and back to the garage, elevator, 28th floor where they patiently awaited a response for days with the energetic labradoodle?
IMOO
Heidi made a deal with someone to get the dog to her son is the only reasonable explanation. The dog sitters must have not known what they were getting into. Imagine their surprise when they finally heard from JW. MOO MOO MOO

Im still 9 pages back so sorry if its been addressed! I am pretty certain theres an article linked here ( I know, thats helpful right??) somewhere that says whoever took care of the dogs did for a while until they couldnt. Ex knew when dog was found by what the finders told him. I guess now looking back obviously I guess I just assumed this but I thought maybe the people that found the dog were texting a number on the collar? I thought the chip came into play later after ex found texts then tracked the chip location. Cause I thought it also said in the article he tracked it after seeing texts.

Idk anymore. JMO obviously!!! Obviously obviously!

My understanding of microchips is that they are NOT gps devices, meaning you cant track where your pet is at any given time. I’ve seen in multiple articles that the ex “tracked” the dogs chip, but I don’t get how he would do that. Maybe his collar was trackable or something? Idk.

Jmo

there are multiple collars that will track your dog or cat via GPS, but I’m fairly sure I read that the ex found the dog via texts once either the dog was found (with identifying info on the collar, or by getting him scanned at a vet.

I believe it has alot to do with vast shrinking of or elimination of investigative newsrooms staff.

I keep forgetting that scanned probably doesn't make sense though cause as stated above the vet wouldnt give out personal information and it sounds like he was contacted by whoever found the dog. On her phone. That he had for about 4 days before he even read any messages.

I’ve kindof wondered about the 4-5 day delay comment. But as I listen or read more of JW speak, I think he might have used the starting point of the 17th. According to various interviews, he had the purported personal phone on the 18th after a friend went to her house and the work phone on the 21st after the wellness check. The Police couldn't keep that phone or ask for the other until they got a warrant, days later. Or until maybe JW voluntarily turned them over to LE.
Right?
So he would have found the texts about the dog on the 21st. Start counting from 17th- that’s 5 days.

Not judging him, because I am sure he is under a lot of mental stress, with a young son at home, wondering what has happened to his mother, and wondering if he will ever see her alive again, but I don't trust much of anything JW says anymore, because he has contradicted his own statements or been misquoted so many times, and has granted interviews to tabloids that are renowned for shoddy reporting, and is acting as the family spokesman as well. His plate is well beyond full, and I personally think he would do well to just stay quiet at this point, and let LE do their work. JMO

Wait. How did he have the phone on the 18th? I thought he didn't know she was missing until Wednesday when she didn't pick up her son?
