Anybody know?
When they pull out deleted entries, via computer forensics, are they able to assign a time of deletion?
I am just wondering.
Thanks.
I would think so ..

Nothing is ever destroyed on computers. He can try all he wants, but unless it is written over they retrieved every word. That was obvious from some of the information they posted in the releases.
5.) CA was leading LE to Ricardo, Amy, Tony and JG. She stated that Tony and Ricardo go "way back", "Amy is part of them" and they do drugs. She believes that Amy or Ricardo could be "Zanny" and "remember that apartment complex that KC took you to on Day 1, Amy and Ricardo live there!"
CA stated that JG's gf before he dated KC was a nanny - Melina - and that KC said that even though she and JG broke up and JG was back with his ex., the woman might be available to babysit Caylee. She stated that Jeff Hopkins, the one from Jacksonville, was dating a Zanny.
All of this information had to come from KC. Why was CA not on the phone to LE ASAP?
Last post - I know you are all glad.
GA said that he and CA had Caylee 99% of the time. That KC would even drop Caylee off at CA's work, for CA to babysit so KC could go to work. The whole week of CA's vacation, the first week of June CA had Caylee every day and night. CA and GA were supposed to go out of town to visit his parents but didnt' go. They had Caylee.
When LE asked if Caylee's vocabulary was picking up, GA said "like a sponge, if you show her once how to turn on the tv, she remembers it. She can get into the baby lock cabinets, open the door to the patio." Of course, this has nothing to do with her vocabulary and it seems GA was not going there with LE. LE suggested that at his own home, he had to watch what he said and did because his toddler was picking up words and such. GA side tracked to opening cabinets, doors and turning on the tv and video.
GA stated that he and CA watched Caylee every day in May. He wakes up around 7:30-8:00, after CA leaves for work and the girls could be up around 9:30-10:00.
Toddlers sleeping in until 9:30-10:00? Where? What planet?
The tape of GA ended at about 14 minutes and I couldn't listen to the rest. If anyone has a better link, please share it with me.
Mods, if this is not appropriate for a whole new thread, please close it or move it.
The sound on my pc is not working, but I finally got a chance to listen to 3 of 4 CA interview tapes last night. Notably, the KC interviews are no longer available. If anyone has a different link than the one provided in the sticky, I would appreciate your posting it here.
From CA's interviews I found some interesting points which I will break up into a few posts because I am long winded today.
1. CA stated that KC's friends came to the house on 2 occassions to discuss what they knew about KC and Caylee's whereabouts during the 31 days. The first occassion was the night of the first vigil. The second was a weel or so later. On one of those occassions, one of the young men brought a bag with Caylee's scuba-style swim suit (it has a life-vest sewn in), some swimmers, hair things, etc. She said she thought his name was Chris, couldn't be sure - but LE could find out from Annie.
The interview was on August 4 and CA had not yet mentioned this to LE.
Patiently, LE tried to impress upon her the importance of them knowing that someone had a bag of Caylee's things as it could help establish where Caylee was, with whom and when. When she was gently confronted about not mentioning this to LE, since her GD was missing, she turned it around on LE and stuck her foot in her mouth at the same time. She stated "well, he has been trying to call you and has left messages and no one returned his calls'. LE said, "he never called me, I promise you." CA responded "he said he called you."
Questions:
Why did she not report the fact that she had these get togethers and maybe invite LE to attend?
Why did she not mention that someone had a bag of Caylee's swim apparel so LE could question this person about how and when he obtained these items?
How can she not know the identity of the person when she has heard from him since that meeting?
According to what TonyL posted on Scared Monkeys, the computer already had the blue screen when Lee arrived at the apartment to collect Casey's belongings.
George said in his LE interview that it was about 1 or 2 in the morning when Lee headed over to Tony's apartment. Does anyone recall where we got the information that he went much earlier than that?
I don't know about the time frame on the 15th/16th. I thought that the police were brought in fairly early in the evening, but in watching Yuri M. testify at the bond hearing, he says they were not even CALLED until around 12:45 AM on the morning of the 16th or the late night of the 15th, and that he personally did not arrive at the home until 3:45 AM. I am most confused since I watched that because I too had seen where everyone has said it was earlier when Lee went and retrieved the laptop, but if it was after LE got there then it must have been after 12:45 AM because that is the time that Yuri testified that they were called and that HE did not arrive until 3 hours later. Baez was TRYING to spin something out of it, but Yuri did not take the bait, so we never actually got to hear WHY it took him 3 hours to get there...
Thanks, found it. Lee says he left at around midnight and got back at 2:25. He was surprised to realize he'd been gone for 2 hours.

[/QUOTE]I used to do computer forensics - yes you can see deletion date - you can see where the link clicked on came from - so for instance you go to Yahoo and put in 'how to make chloroform' and lets say 5000 links come up - you click on the first one - and then the second one and so on - then you go in and clear history - and most people don't know to clear cookies but lets say you do
I could go into the memory and pull all this info - and tell the investigators when the sites were looked at, where they came from (search engine, direct input, etc.), what pages were looked at and for how long you looked at them
Thanks.

Quoting myself...
SO this leaves the entire late afternoon and evening for a cleanup on the car and a thorough removal of "certain" items that could have been present. I bet Cindy had those pants washed before she ever even called the police or went to find Casey. It was after 7:00 when she took Casey from Tony's right? So what were they doing for the next 6 hours that they did not call the police?
Yep, and dont forget all the time that KC (the CSI fan) had to clean out the car before it was towed from the Amscot. I was amazed that LE found any forensic evidence in the car at all...
(ETA - and also, GA was a car detailer AND a LEO, I thought the car was going to be SPOTLESS. Imagine the mess that must have been in the car originally... it must have been fair SLATHERED in evidence if, after all that cleaning, there was STILL decomp etc present!)
The tow yard lot has a very tall chain link fence with barbed wire on top of it. How does that make it insecure? It's a lot more secure than in the Anthony's driveway. Tow lots are usually fenced securely and also have guard dogs. There is usually someone there 24 hours a day as towing occurs 24 hours a day. There's a great shot of the tow yard on one of the videos and it looks VERY secure to me.
ChrisS gave a statement to Melich which was in the sunshine law document dump.
Right about that Turbo. You are so smart. Everything is etched into rust on the main drive. And, there are people trained in retriving that information. Probably one on the staff at LE. I can see Lee's actions on attempting to erase the computer files as tampering with evidence. I think before this case goes to trial, we're going to see other people in that family charged, too.

I'll find it, thanks much.
Love your avitar btw. When The Bad Seed was released in 1956, it was a psychological "chiller" that had as wild an impact on audiences as Hitchcock's Psycho.
In 1956, most Americans regarded Psychology and Psychiatry as utter nonsense or, at best, an unreliable, dubious "science." So, when The Bad Seed suggested that two wonderful parents could produce a sweet, pigtailed, homicidal eight-year-old with perfect manners but no conscience , the entire premise seemed more like fictional melodrama than psychological science at first...
But soon after seeing it, people began to remember children they'd known who'd behaved in very strange, inexplicable, and frightening ways.
I was only a child when I saw the Bad Seed at the movies with my parents, but it shook me up a little, and the grown-ups way more. My parents and their friends talked about it long afterward.
Are you a fan of it too?
Hope this wasn't too off-topic.
