ANAHEIM – An autopsy has confirmed that a 21-year-old woman whose body was found at a recycling plant was the victim of foul play, police said Tuesday, as investigators continue to retrace her last day in an area known for prostitution.
Anaheim police declined to specify the exact manner of Jarrae Nykkole Estepp’s death but confirmed that they are comparing notes with detectives in nearby cities to see if there are any links to other suspected crimes that may have involved prostitution, including a woman whose body was found on the shore in Newport Beach last year and the disappearance of several women from Santa Ana.

Among those cases is the death of Tina Hoang, 30, of Bellflower, who was found dead in the sand in Newport Beach on March 4, 2013. At the time of her death, Hoang had been facing charges related to three prostitution-related arrests in Anaheim.
Anaheim police also are talking to Santa Ana investigators about the disappearance of three women – Kianna Rae Jackson, Martha Anaya and Josephine Monique Vargas – who were known to frequent a tough neighborhood known for drug dealing and prostitution.
