Big hugs, sgt, and prayers that Jennifer is found soon.
On Wednesday, the search continued with the aid of the Sheriff’s Office and an aircraft was canvassing U.S. Highway 199 to search for the vehicle.
Perhaps she bought the coke so that she could take the sleeping pills and maybe she dozed off while driving. I know that on 199 there is a steep drop off on one side of the road and it is very densely covered with ferns and other vegetation. That might be one area to check.

If you look at your wife's facebook the pictures (way at the bottom. gotta let it load a few pages of pictures.)where your two boys are sitting(standing) on the back of the tahoe there is the sticker right there. I'll put the picture up I guess.. I don't know how you could dismiss that so easily about dead lake. Even if you consider an 1/8 of a tank in the tahoe (could reach up to 60+miles??)even if there was no gas put in at the lucky seven gas station she could have gotten gas elsewhere. She could have headed north turned around after going to another location a mile or two later. The sixteen dollar thing. I understand you say you know every last penny she had, but sometimes people keep little things from each other. There is a way on green earth she had more than sixteen dollars?? Which on the radio show you said she spent half that on soda/snacks(had8 left & got gas with that? Wasn't sure what you said bout the other 8) then you posted earlier (on here) she only got a soda? See little things sometimes may get over looked or cemented where that might not be the case. I still think you should get the t.v. Stations to play the video.even kcre/kpod could post it on their facebooks. I've seen many cases where they put up a video & it brings in people that have seen something. Thats what I would do in this situation. There are so many (could haves) (not exactly sure) (maybes) sometimes you have to think outside the box? I'm not saying give up with the north thing, but maybe try to be open about theres a possibility theres something other than what meets the eye. I'm not going to put that photo but i'll put the link again like I did on page three. Look at it and confirm the sticker?? Or did you guys remove it recently??

The BIB has got me thinking. If someone was about to end their life very shortly, would they bother to buy snacks? Don't people usually buy snacks to keep them going on a long journey? Why not take a drink from home, along with the pills and the gun? Seems odd to make a stop to buy soda on the way to committing suicide, when everything else had been well planned and taken from the house.
Just a thought, but is there any chance this could have all been staged to make people think she had taken her own life, so that she could just slip away? Maybe she thought she was a burden to her family, and thought that people would be better off without her .... so she wanted people to think she was gone and wouldn't look far for her? Could she have had another source of money? And is there anyone she could go to, who would keep her secret?
I know that theory seems far fetched, but the one part of all of this that doesn't make sense to me is that she planned this all so well - from taking a day off work, to instructing them to delay her husband if he called, to making arrangements as to where she wanted her ashes scattered. All perfectly thought out and yes, does all point to suicide ..... but apparently she didn't think of a place where she would be quickly and easily found? The letter makes it clear that she expects to be found - so where is she?
Why would she say where she could be found, if she didn't plan to go there .... unless she was laying a false trail to give herself time to get away? If she only had enough gas for a 40 mile radius, surely the car would have been found by now?
I guess I'm just desperate for a happy ending with this story, as she seems like such a lovely person, and when we read so many stories on WS about women being killed by their partners, its just so sad to see her husband suffering so much at her disappearance.
The only other explanation is that which others have put forward, that she was under the influence of the sleeping tablets and possibly had an accident on the way to the beach.
I did not see all the posts up here...sorry I missed them.
I knew when I got together with Jennifer that I would always be second to her late husband. I accepted that, and even made sure she wore his wedding ring on her right hand when we were married. His ashes still sit on my mantle. He was a good friend of mine many years ago. To answer some other questions, the phone is dead, and no pings yet. There are no SARS dogs here, and the teams will not even deploy until we narrow the search area. I believe she is in (or close to) the truck. If we find it, we find Jenn. I also believe she bought the soda to swallow the pills. 199 has been covered thoroughly, and this Casino area is north of that cutoff. She was definately seen going North. All hotels have come up empty for a range of 60 miles. we have checked under alternative names and sent pictures to the clerks. She is very beautiful, and if you have ever met her, you will not forget her. I also think her intent was to make sure I did not find her. She may have done too good of a job hiding. She knows me...she knew I would search through hell and highwater for her right away. The last week we were together, she was happier than ever. I cannot wrap my head around any of this. Thanks for the comments, and please be patient with me. My phone sucks, and it takes me forever to type out these messages...

I am unclear about how she planned to use both the sleeping pills and the gun.
sgt, you should again thouroughly search all along the way to the beach for any signs of an accident, car swerving off the road or anything. That would be my advice right now.
I find it odd that she tells you to find her at the beach, and she wants to be found, yet she's not there.
Or is there a chance she meant a different beach?

It is a very strange combination...unless she did not know if she would actually be able to shoot herself.
I just can't fathom where her car is, if not wrecked off the road hidden from view. Helicopters and/or planes are needed for sure.
