I’m devastated for her family and friends, but many of us figured this would be the outcome.

I know it seems hard to believe she was missed in initial searches, but this happens very frequently. AWP is truly doing God’s work. MOO.

Sad ending, but it comes as no surprise, as this was a prototypical car/water/accident scenario.

These guys are absolutely unbelievable, but I wasn't confident they'd be able to find her, let alone find her so fast.

According to the news interview I saw last night with the search team the boat launch was cleared.
Perhaps that was intentional to throw off looky loos and the media so LE could direct the next steps without a circus.

So very sad for Kiely's family.

It's what I expected. But never wanted.

Rest in peace, sweet girl.

JMO

They're really top notch. How incredibly sad. I was so hoping for another outcome, even though any outcome would have been tough, this is awful. I hope the investigation moves quickly, and her family finds peace.

So so sad her short live ended too soon. She seemed such a sweet & amazing girl. I hope she didn’t suffer.

I wish her loved ones so much strenghth & comfort & hope people remember to take care of one another while out. Drunk or not, strange people or not, take care so everyone gets home fine.

Don’t know if it’s the right time to post this, but the past 2 days i couldn’t find back the drone footage from above the water. The one someone posted they saw something (possible car) on or around minute 1. I didn’t find it anymore (deleted?). I’m curious if it was right, for the purpose of learning for the next (hopefully not) case… let us learn from each case to help others!

It's not easy navigating when you're basically searching by hand due to visibility issues. AWP are obviously skilled in their craft. They've been able to solve many cases that other qualified people were unable to
I saw the same thing happen in a case in Bakersfield LE searched the area in the water and months later a vehicle was found in the same area below water in the mud. This was like 10 feet away from the shoreline of the water. Some counties don't have elaborate sonar equipment and the training expertise to conduct these searches in my opinion. Thankfully she was found although a very sad ending.

So, was she found near the boat ramp we’ve been looking at? I would guess Kiely was found in the driver’s seat, but will await confirmation by LE.
I’m wondering also if it was the same boat ramp because I could envision taking just ONE wrong turn especially if intoxicated.

Even if she wasn’t in the driver’s seat, I still wouldn’t be all that concerned. She could’ve taken it off or may not have even had it on? JMO.

My heart aches for Kiely, her family and her friends. May they all find some peace knowing the truth that is finally unfolding.

Thank you to AWP's search. In the end not sure what we all contributed, but we certainly have a lot of caring souls here.
