Recently, a thread was started Kathleen Edna Rodgers age 16 who went missing from Oroville, CA (the other end of the state) 3 March 1973. http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=218373
I don't know if she is listed in NamUs/the Doe Network/the Charley Project. I wonder if she has been compared with this UID? Her age, height, and hair color are consistent with this UID and she could have lost weight if she had run away from home before meeting with bad fate.
I might follow up to see if the following have also been ruled out but not listed on NAMUS:

height is a little off, but circumstances, coloring seem close

A few months ago, I e-mailed the Los Angeles County Coroner about the young man in Hacienda Heights (Doe Network 865umca, The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)) possibly being missing person Richard Nelson Lamson from San Mateo, CA The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs). I don't know if anything came of it of if he was ruled out. Kathleen Rodgers is from Oroville which is also in Northern California.
Rose Cole is now also ruled out.Updated Namus link: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Sherry Pickle is still the only ruleout.
This jane doe could have been his girlfriend considering they were found not too far from each other and they shared the same peace symbol earrings, he was also wearing rosary beads so he might have felt he was in grave danger. She was killed some ten months later, I think they were living with someone he took a liking to his girlfriend and killed him, and kept his girlfriend as a sex slave, and then killed her some ten months later, she was found in an open grave about twelve inches deep this makes me wonder if he was coming back and visiting it. There several girls from this general area that were found off the 91 freeway in shallow graves the one about Dorothy Scott sounds like it was revisited. True Crime Diary
