A woman's headless torso found in Los Angeles appears to be related to two plastic bags of body parts found in Pico Rivera, Calif., authorities said.
"He comes up to us and says, 'Dude, those are legs,' " Gudino told KABC-TV.
So, Gudino said, he got out of the vehicle and looked.
"Sure enough, there are two legs," he said.
County officials worked to identify the body parts.
The torso, wrapped in garbage bags, was found Monday in a trash receptacle at a Los Angeles Fire Department maintenance facility, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Los Angeles County (Calif.) Sheriff's Police said it would take a couple days to determine if the torso is related to body parts found Friday by a motorist in Pico Rivera.
