Rangers are actively searching for two people after they went out for a hike Saturday morning but did not return as planned, the Yosemite National Park announced.
Park officials say 63-year-old Miguel Delgado and 40-year-old Ana Rodarte left Bridalveil Creek Campground at around 10 a.m. on Saturday. They were believed to have gone on a day hike possibly toward Ostrander Lake.
Investigators say they planned to return within a couple of hours that day but are overdue.
Rodarte is listed as 5-foot-7 and 198 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The park service said she had been wearing a gray windbreaker, green pants or jeans, and a blue ballcap.
Delgado is said to be 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown jacket with blue accents, an orange T-shirt, tan pants, and a backpack, park officials said.
