Within a week and a half before Sam disappeared we were all at my parents visiting and I had asked him why he was being so quiet and if he was okay. My sister had mentioned his leg was hurting bad lately and he agreed and it was left at that. Then next time I seen him (about 3 days before missing) he was excited and happy, back to his normal self. He was pretty proud of himself for passing his test and acquiring his CCW and I told him I was proud of him as well. I feel like he was a bit stressed about a few of life's problems but nothing he couldn't get through. He is such a strong and stubborn guy and would never give up on anything. He was also completing courses to get his smog license.

The father of a man reported missing in Yuba County in June is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the location of his son...

His abandoned vehicle was located June 16 in the river bottom area along the Feather River in Yuba County. The vehicle was locked and the keys were not with the vehicle, but Pharis' cell phone and other valuables were discovered inside the car.

Nearly two years have passed since Samuel Pharis went missing.

His father has yet to learn any information about what happened to his only son.

I found this thread after being in the Marysville area (visiting) and seeing a billboard with “where’s Sammy” on it. It did mention the reward had been upped to $20k. So sad there’s no new information!
