Bob Blaiser needs to shut up. Ambulance chaser hoping to defend the perp??

:furious:

I so agree with this! What he says is not true. LE had the dogs out there - they led a trail to the water.

I don't remember what else he said, but it was not right either!

Tracy LE has done an excellent job on this case, in my opinion and they have not only been professional, they have been compassionate - you can't ask for anything more!

:bang: I am sorry!

Don't be sorry! I'm sure the sleuther was just hypothesizing. My mind tripped over the part about duct tape, too, when I first read it. But LE has definitely not said anything about duct tape.

No way dude! Do you think that you will be able to do any of the recordings like you did for Haleigh?

I wish that we had separate threads for Sandra.

Sandra does need forum with separate threads, we are going in circles.

100 boxes? You were an awesome girl scout. I never got close to that! LOL

What my girls and their friends call leggings are almost like tights without feet, but thicker so they can be worn as pants (Hannah Montana wears them all the time.) The knitted things I haven't seen much of lately so I don't know what kids call them today, but in the 80's we called them "leg warmers."

It really is strange they can't get the outfit correct. If people were looking for her, makes you wonder if they missed anything because they heard a different description!

I have 7yo, and legginng are like tights w/o feet. Very Hannah Montana - sometimes worn under a skirt or a long t-shirt. Ankle length. And considered very cool by the kids in our hood. Even girls in jr. high or high school. Out here where it is cold, they'll wear them with UGGs year round.

You are thinking of leg warmers. Leggings are more like footless tights, but they are of thicker material and can be worn as pants, capri-style but tighter.

Hi Linask, It seems to me that wearing tights with no skirt would be a bit riskay for a 9 yr old to wear to school, and don't think her mother would dress her like that.

So maybe she was wearing leggings as you say - I would call them stretch pants, and not tights as said by the Sgt S. xox

Could it be that they sealed the body bag that the suitcase was put into and the bag was to be unsealed by the ME?

Yes, I think that is possible. I don't know official protocol, as another poster pointed out, they probably used a wire-type seal on the suitcase zipper pulls.

It took 6 men to remove bag BUT it was soaked with water, dead weight and maybe weighted down with bricks or something..........body gases can release enough to help float when water was drained........

Agree...

I think they should look closely at the handles on the top and side(s) for fingerprints and DNA. I lift my bag that way all the time, one hand on the top, one hand on the side, turn and lift. It would be, IMO, relatively easy to lift and put in the trunk or seat of a car. And as I mentioned before, if it had wheels, pulling 60 pounds is nothing. If there's one thing I know that is related to this case, it's pulling heavy luggage around!

I think it was someone inside the mhp and not a stranger. I believe Sandra knew her abductor/killer. I also think she was lured to where this nightmare began by the person who caught her attention in the video when she turns.

I hope you are right. I would think that it would make the "trail" of evidence easier to follow. I am so very hopeful that we will see justice for Sandra and her family. It won't bring her back but if the evidence leads us to the perp they will hopefully never be able to hurt another child ever again. That is always a good thing. Hard to see that through tears for this beautiful child.

Stretch pants are probably a better description than tights because they are thicker. We used to wear them in the 80's under huge sweaters. LOL If you want to go waaaaaay old school...think Mary Tyler Moore on the Dick Van Dyke Show! LOL

Hey, You jogged my memory LT LOLOLOL On TV today I saw the video with the white van and the men standing around. Well it also included a couple of guys moving something towards the back of the open van. I didn't get a really good glimpse of it, but it was low to the ground and looked heavy.

IIRC there were more than one LEOs moving the suitcase from the pond. That may be why the plural "killers" has been used. Because of the weight involved.
It was soaking wet then and dry with only her body weight plus the suitcase weight when it was put in. ;) The weight would be significantly different.

The plural term they are using is standard when they do not want to tip theiir hand to a perp/perps.

I pray tonight that the monster(s) are found.........to save another child from this (these) people..........like SGT said 'hug your child' If I lived there my children would not even go to school til this is solved.........I would have them on my lap day and night.
Might even buy me a gun and video cameras. IMO, it is a neighbor and someone she was NOT afraid of. Father/Brother/ grandpa of playmate?

With all due respect...for you and what I have seen in a pretty conservative neighborhood...you'd be surprised!

I do believe leggings (very tight fitting pants to the ankle) and a t-shirt are acceptable clothing for girls these days. Until this spring, I've seen them worn under skirts or skorts. Now I do see it under a long t-shirt.

Lest the point get lost, even little girls are wearing really tight clothes these days - not necessarily suggestive, but...

Hi SS, Interesting. I also noticed that the Sgt spokesperson only mentioned her shirt and leggings {tights} and left out the little skirt she was wearing.

I wonder if that was on purpose or an error? Maybr the perp kept the skirt as a memento?

Also, nothing was mentioned about a little backpack. I know LE never mentioned one being seen in the video, so maybe they are leaving it out of their comments altogether. I wonder if it was in the suitcase with her - if there was one. A backpack I mean. xox

I am wondering if that "backpack" was something found in the shed?! That would be huge evidence in my opinion.

I loooved to go to Girl Scout Camp, and I was able to thanks in part to selling cookies. Camp had horses... I was very motivated.

"Leg warmers", maybe that is what I am thinking of! Its just interesting that there are so many interpretations of her outfit after hearing it described verbally. I guess if you have the descriptive colors, and I think they did, it would make a difference.

I wouldn't cross anyone off the POI list at this point, but I am kind of leaning more towards one perp with some upper body strength who lived there, knew her, and took advantage of the timing.
