I have thoughts as to why it is not getting the same coverage as other cases. I don't dare voice them, but I do have them. I bet you might too.

Absolutely disgusting. MHO.

Justice delayed is justice denied - isn't that how the saying goes???

I'm a Brit ... my surprise as to why this hasn't got the media coverage it deserves is genuine? This crime is absolutely horrific. What on earth was in these young men's heads when they did this? Did they seriously think they were going to get away with it?

Take out the whole military aspect (I understand the military kicked them out pretty much as soon as they were charged, so that isn't an issue) - four young men commit horrific murders on two innocent individuals in their own home. It doesn't get much worse than that. It takes years to get to court and is largely ignored? Doesn't make any kind of sense.

Thanks for the updates Joe. As I suspected, it sounds like the juries didnt have much trouble convicting. Am I correct that only Miller was found guilty of the sexual assault?
While I certainly believe these guys deserve death, its almost a moot point. The appellate process in California is almost at a standstill.

Miller was the only one convicted of sexual assault, but all 3 were convicted of the charges and enhancements that mean they are eligible for DP,

Just to add, I find the wording interesting. "trial was due to start in August" Is he dead? In a psych hold?

I don't know what that is supposed to mean. I sure hope his trial isn't pushed back any further.

I am so glad to hear that some justice has finally been achieved. I know neither of these guys will ever likely be executed, but its at least nice to know that the jury found them to be so dispicable that they deserve to be erased from our world.
