I have thoughts as to why it is not getting the same coverage as other cases. I don't dare voice them, but I do have them. I bet you might too.

Not his trial will be delayed even longer pending a mental evaluation for him. This attack/rape/murders were three years ago with all defendants being apprehended shortly thereafter, and still none of them have gone on trial.
A judge has delayed reading of the verdict for one of four Marines accused of killing a young sergeant and his wife in French Valley until tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in Riverside.

Just to add, I find the wording interesting. "trial was due to start in August" Is he dead? In a psych hold?
