Yes, he has been cleared apparently. It's in several previous posts.
The HUSBAND has been. Some people have mentioned an ex husband.

Perhaps they did get permission from landowners. All police can search without a warrant in emergencies or Exigent Circumstances they call it. So that would include lost child in eminent danger and perhaps endangered adult. I think it would be limited to what could be used to hide them. You could not look in drawers or computers.

I recognize we are not allowed to sleuth him (for good reason!)....
But I wonder if LE has cleared the ex-husband?
Do people in their 30's still use checkbooks? I haven't written one since 2007!
did the husband say he often doesn't bring his cell to work?
Credit card. I give them the number before the worker's even arrive. However, we have lived in the same place for 24 years. Everyone we call we have used before and trust them. How do you pay, say, a plumber who comes to your home?
Makes me wonder if he's in law enforcement or works in a jail where you "can't" take your cell phone in.

Just a few questions I am trying to make sense of.
*10:37 she texted her husband to ask if he was coming home for lunch. I wonder why she even sent him a text when he usually leaves his phone in the car. She would know he does not bring his phone into work....
* Why would she stop in the middle of wrapping a gift and go for a run? Maybe before she began wrapping or maybe after she's done wrapping then going for a run makes sense but to not even finish wrapping it.....

My latest feeling is "hoax." I could be so far off, but it would explain quite a bit, right?

Are you sure that you are talking about her EX-husband, from whom she reportedly was divorced in 2007-2008?
That link referred to here does not come through for me...Lol. I gotta start reading threads through before posting. I get impatient. [emoji53]

I still don't get why he doesn't take his cell phone in to work at a Best Buy. [emoji53]. Especially when you have kids.

<modsnip>I don't know what to think about the husband. He seems sincerely grief-stricken, but as another poster suggested, it could be a flood of emotions brought on by guilt and remorse or something of that nature.
I don't know why but something is niggling me in the back of my mind about her phone. He used the "find my iPhone" feature? Who does that? I would think most people would be calling up friends and relatives and police first. It seems odd to me. I guess if he'd placed calls extensively first (did he?) it would be a smart thing to check. But it kinda feels like he was looking for her phone, not necessarily her.
Also, could he have used that feature to explain away his footprints or other evidence in the area her phone was "found"?
I truly hope he has nothing to do with this but I feel a bit uneasy about the whole thing.
