My point was just that we can't take these little tid-bits of information as conclusive fact. Or if some evidence is not revealed to the public, assume it does not exist. I feel they may have found video to reach the more recent theory of where Sierra was abducted. Are they now claiming the dogs trailed her mid-street?

BBM: Yes, that is what they are NOW claiming ... this new "location" where the scent was trailed to was contained in the "Statement of Facts" issued by the DA that was presented at Antolin's first court appearance.

I can't find the link here at WS ... is it in the Timeline ?

TIA !

I know. I was just using your post as a jump point.
I agreed with what you were saying.

However, if LE is going to speak of evidence, where it was found
and when then it should be truthful. Or not at all.

After three differing locations, can you feel like THIS one is set in stone.
The others also seemed solid. So, if this is the way they are going to play it,
they might decide the scent trail ended in the middle of Daughtery, in the future.
I put no stock at all in their "public statements".

Hmmm...I hadn't realized that the dogs didn't pick up Sierra's scent anywhere except at the bag. Now I'm leaning towards that he ditched her bag after he assaulted her.

Wherever the assault site was, she was just left with her shoes. He could have driven her to a very remote location and then made her walk way further to a more remote location, one not accessible by motor vehicle. She could be a long, long ways from where ever he drove her to that morning. I hadn't thought of that before.

Except the Sheriff stated in her PC that SIERRA was the one who tossed the bag. Had to have thrown it to land right there, incredibly, I guess since they are "saying", for what it's worth, that her scent was not found in the area of the shed.

SHERIFF SMITH: Sierra was a very social girl. She had a
lot of friends. She communicated with her friends all the
time through social media outlets, through telephoning. From
the time that she was reported missing, there was absolutely
no contact. There has been no contact with any of her
friends. We have no reason to believe that she ran away. We
now have a stranger who we identified through DNA on her
property. Also, her property she threw away or discarded --
she did not throw away. Discarded was her property that she
would have taken -- that she would have taken with her,
including medication.

If the bag was thrown against the shed wall, could it have slid down the wall & ended where it was found?

Thank you.
Sierra tossed the bag or threw it or however it managed to land between the cactus and the wall that did not involve walking over to it.
In unknown clothing or lack thereof.
She discarded it according to the Sheriff.

It's ok by me.
It's the Sheriff who backtracks and says not thrown.

Maybe there was a catapult in the car somewhere.

And maybe I should note that I was being facetious before
someone comes on to tell me that there aren't catapults in
any of the shops around MH.

Garcia-Torres owns the red Volkswagen Jetta previously sought by authorities in connection to the case, the San Jose Mercury News reported. The car was found May 8.

The car was seen at the time and place where the teenager disappeared on March 16 in an unincorporated area of Morgan Hill.

The same car was also captured on surveillance video from buses and local businesses near where other evidence in the case was found.

May 8?
I thought it was April 7?

Oh well.

Were the books in a separate bag or loose or in the bag with the clothes? I have never understood what the story is on her books.

Me personally, I don't care if they didn't reveal it until the 12th of Never,
they weren't fooling Antolin Garcia about when they got the car.
Only the public.
What purpose did that serve?

I'm thinking that AGT may have told LE someone borrowed his car. In order to keep him feeling comfortable they allowed him to think they believed him and made it seem that way to the public.

I understood it to be the books were stacked outside of the bag, but with the bag.

I agree, maybe they wanted him to think he was in the clear and that they were buying his story by continuing to look (In public) for others who may have had use of this car and or seen someone else driving it. That way he would not suspect that he was a POI and might still lead them to an alive Sierra.

I got from that rather convoluted statement that it was NOT Sierra who discarded the items, as these were items she needed. JMO

Not replying to any topic, but I am in the USA right now on vacation, and boy is this hitting home even more. Just thinking about Sierra all day, and have been praying that she will be found soon. She really has become "an international daughter" to all of us. I wish her family knew that there are people all over the world who knows about this, and has been following any news, and who are praying also.

Hi there, everyone supporting and searching for Sierra. I'm new to there forums. My question is, what is "LE" an acronym for? I understand it's a branch of the law.

This has been a very interesting and publicized case. I have just read and learned about hotsteno's twitter, bit I can recall digging back a few pages and reading that someone tweeted about one of sierras schoolmates possibly being in ATG's car too, and luring her?

I also agree with a previous poster who stated they believe ATG might be a pawn. If Sierra is not in the immediate bay area I think he must have had at least one accomplice.

Also how about gang affiliation? He's from the south San Jose-North Gilroy area, sporting a RED Jetta, arrested in RED shorts. This is an area where the mexican farmers/workers have known to associate with the Norteno. (Sorry to profile, but I thought it was worth speculation)

Thanks to everyone who has posted helpful information. My best energy and wishes to Sierra and the LaMar family.
